How do you remove or edit the shine on shoes?

Extract the dds of the shoe (not the green texture) and then open in photoshop. Go to the channels tab and in the "alpha 1" layer (the bottom/last layer) make sure its black or a very dark grey color. That should remove the shine

Thank you very much for responding. But, is there any other way to do this? maybe by editing a texture from the global? Because this problem only happened after i had replaced my global.
