Any know if the Legends are still in the Next Gen version? I'd like to see MJ and some others if ever they post screens of legends.

I believe they confirmed that there will be classic teams.

This isn't a thread for just posting the latest next gen screenshots, unless of course they're being used as part of the challenge outlined in the first post. Feel free to create a new thread for new screens or post them in one of the existing "latest next gen screenshots" threads.

^Which mods did you use? Those are crazy!

That looks awesome Phreak50
Would also like to know what mods you are using.
Looks better than next gen imo.
Most next gen has pics I have seen have slightly better details to textures but colours look kind of washed out and more cartoony/videogame style than real.

Hi guys

I thought they looked better (more true to life) than next gen too. Glad you feel the same

The mods are a tweaked ENB I got from here
http://www.moddingway.com/file/37745.htmlSean John's 2K13 Stadium Feel, SJ's new beta global, the 4HD ball, Ambient Occlusion forced through Nvidia Inspector.
Mon Nov 11, 2013 3:16 am
just downloaded the enb...can you please share what did you tweaked?
thanks

How do you install Stadium Feel? Just copy files from it, and now game wont launch

Oops, game wont launch with ENB, not with stadiumfeel. Sorry

Make sure you put ALL files and folders from the downloaded ENB into the game folder.

Which version of windows are you running? and which of the profiles you use for Ambient Occlusion?

I am sure that I did it

Windows 7, 64bit.
Profile is just the 2K13 one (add the 2K14 .exe), with settings turned on for AO. JaoSming has a YT tutorial I believe.

The biggest differences I see visually between this gen and next gen 2k14 graphics are
-Shadows/ambient occlusion
-Lighting
-Polygon count
-Shadows/ambient occlusion: Forcing high quality AO via nVidia Inspector does a good job creating the shadows but it seems like the parameters it uses to judge object spacing is off, causing shadows to appear where they shouldn't and vise-versa. It actually looks better/worse depending on what camera angle you play with
-Lighting: I've always maintained that if someone could somehow mod 2K to make the floors on courts have soft light source emitting from it it would greatly improve lighting and give us a look similar to next gen
-Polygon Count: Nothing we can do about that unfortunately, but using high res textures would help only help

was possible in 2K12, no idea what is or isnt possible in 2k13/2k14 since the uniform lighting changed

Made this from that 2k14 next gen side view image of Lebron, mixed it with a real image for the front. If anybody gets the next gen version of 2k. PM me Images of players from all angles so i can really make them.

Looks good King

And I agree with the above comments on lighting making all the difference.
I actually installed 2K10 again and my god, that graphics engine was so much better! There seemed to be more polys in the body, better lighting and just a nice crisp look to it.
Anyway, playing with 2K14 again...

To me 2k9 is the only one near to nextgen graphics, 2k14 has great graphics on players but the overall look isn't right. If we need to change something I guess it's on the arena's light (something like that) but not on the players. it's not because player's head looks exactly the same as the real one that it means it's looks like next gen.
nba 2k9
http://pc.duowan.com/uploads/userup/081 ... 351963.jpgand 2k14 CG
http://www.mixgames.fr/wp-content/uploa ... 11-022.jpgto me 2k14 CG is tasteless , it's live 07 v.2 on PS2 (graphically speaking).
Maybe modders should not focus on "how to make the current gen looks like next gen " but " how we can make the game as unique as possible with what we got "
