JersezSHG, I want to believe this game can be affected by such minor things like foot position, but I'm not buying it. Its a great video, IMO, for real life basketball....but I think its more getting the defender stuck in an animation and reacting quickly rather than the actual foot being out of position.

Does all teams have their sleeves jersey in the game?
Sun Oct 06, 2013 11:40 am
in a mod I made, yea
otherwise it is just clippers, suns, and warriors right now

Did you release it? Can we change v neck to round collar ?
Sun Oct 06, 2013 12:20 pm
yes, Midnight Ballers is the mod name
only the V neck is working properly on other uniforms right now, the { warriors neck is affecting numbers in the method currently available through the roster.iff
there is only V and { necks in the game for sleeved uniforms

No not at all, Mike Wang himself gave tips like the one shown in the video last year for 2k13, it's reading and reacting just like in real life basketball, if you see a guy bite on a move, you read his positioning and use the proper move, in this video I showed mostly regular crossovers but there are many situations that require the appropriate move, Such as close distances if a defender is crowding you, you use a spin launch or a behind the back launch, if a defender is somewhat backed off like what I've shown, you can use the between the legs launch or a regular crossover.
The game is much deeper than what people actually think. Sorry for a long Post. Also I'm not trying to defend the game or my video because I have videos of me doing the same thing in 2k13 and 2k12(where is was almost impossible to get past the cpu), and this is how you get ankle breakers too btw. Doing a whole bunch of random moves will get you locked up.

No worries on the "long" post, it was very intelligent. I'll keep an eye on it and try some of this, but I'm still skeptical.

Yeah it's understandable, best advice is to not do a whole bunch a moves and I can even direct you to some tips Mike Wang himself gave, even though it's from 2k13 it still applies in 2k14. Also this is the only way to get a ankle breaker animation on a consistent basis

Loving the game... imo the best 2K ever the only issue for me is sometimes it's easy to block/ get blocked

Davon6, which setting do you use for SSAO ? Performance, Quality or High Quality? I used it on "high quality" but I did not notice that self-shadows were that evident as in your print screens. I am running it on GTX 680.

I have it set to high quality. I haven't tried quality to see the difference. Which video drivers are you using? I'm running it on GTX 780 w/327.23 drivers. It might also be the ENB and or sweet FX mod enhancing the effect.

Drivers: 331.40 (beta). I am using NVIDIA Inspector 1.9.7.2 (settings: Ambient Occlusion compability:
Diablo III, Ambient Occlusion setting:
High quality, Ambient Occlusion:
Enabled.
Could you share enb mod you are using since I am not getting self shadowing as seen in your print screens if at all

. Currently I am using following ENB + SweetFX combination -> AC3 Photomod + SweetFX v1.5. Until a proper global is released this enb+sweetfx gives the best possible picture imo. Have you also selected Diablo III under Ambient Occlusion compability ?

This is the ENB I'm using. Also make sure your graphics settings in game are all set the the highest values. Especially AA and AA quality. I noticed the shadows show up much better with both of those set to the highest settings. Hope that helps.

. Ambient Occlusion was switched off under 3d settings in nvidia control panel before I created nba 2k14 profile and enabling it through nvidia inspector did not override the set setting. Now when I switched it on/to quality its working

. Will post print screens in a minute. By the way, what is max AA quality level and AA (MSAA) you can set with GTX 780 in nba 2k14 ? With GTX 680 it's "3" and AA (MSAA) x8.
Good deal! As to the AA and MSAA its the same for GTX 780, 8 and 3.
