No not at all, Mike Wang himself gave tips like the one shown in the video last year for 2k13, it's reading and reacting just like in real life basketball, if you see a guy bite on a move, you read his positioning and use the proper move, in this video I showed mostly regular crossovers but there are many situations that require the appropriate move, Such as close distances if a defender is crowding you, you use a spin launch or a behind the back launch, if a defender is somewhat backed off like what I've shown, you can use the between the legs launch or a regular crossover.
The game is much deeper than what people actually think. Sorry for a long Post. Also I'm not trying to defend the game or my video because I have videos of me doing the same thing in 2k13 and 2k12(where is was almost impossible to get past the cpu), and this is how you get ankle breakers too btw. Doing a whole bunch of random moves will get you locked up.
