NBA 2k14 automatically closes

Have any of you had the problem In NBA 2k14 Kycareer Mode and when you are at the 3-Point contest player select screen and when you click NEXT, the game just automatically closes without crashing?

did you put in any mods or patches recently?

Well I did,, but I reinstalled the game and the problem still persists.
