Blacktop Revitalization - Signature Skills Edition

This mod does NOT overwrite anything in NBA 2K13. You can play Blacktop Revitalization alongside the default 2K13 with no conflicts.

This mod is meant for Blacktop Mode, no other modes have been tested.

This mod is OPEN SOURCE, feel free to edit, modify, and re-release without permission!

Make Blacktop Mode more interesting! NBA teams are replaced and filled with the best players of each signature skill, making it easier to find that chasedown artist or bruiser.

• Last official 2K roster used as a base
• No accessories other than some randomly assigned t-shirts
• NBA uniforms replaced with generic casual shorts and tops
• Players wear different clothes if they are home or away
• Two new Blacktop Mode courts, a small gym and a car lit court

Hey Jao, I think this is awesome. One issue though, I'm getting white boxes on all of the jerseys. Any idea what could be causing that?

Also, would you consider releasing a version with more role players included (maybe a default roster)?

not planning on it right now, but you can restore the original teams by bringing back the default teams tab (it will keep the uniforms and arenas). Just a copy paste from a default roster over will do it.

Same here, white boxes on the chest part of the players, not sure why that's happening.

I forgot to include this iff file, my bad. Ill update the download now. FYI, the white boxes will still show up on the Home Menu, but it should be ok in Blacktop Mode

thank you!! I ve changed the courts for the rucker park ones...the only problem it is that the crowd its silent when you start to play... can you fix this?I really want to play in the rucker park.thank you

if you use rucker for s614 the crowd will always be silent, since the small crowd on the rooftop court didn't make any noise in the default game.

You didn't mention that this mod terribly slows down PC performance. I didn't back up my files either, so i guess it's my fault. IDK what to do now.

This mod doesn't change anything, you don't need to backup anything.

Oh yea. I just realized. Is there a way that I can use the mod and NOT have performance issues, because its a great mod and I really want to use it.

there is no reason you should have any performance issues with this mod, i dont know what to tell you.

The performance issues come from the gym/arenas... I noticed it when Jaosming first released these edited arenas... I'm still not sure why. Sometimes is slows the game performorance and other times it works perfect, in blacktop mode it has been slow but when I use these gyms/courts with other rosters (outside of blacktop) there are no performance issues

very weird, especially as I have removed the crowd in the file which should eliminate the game trying to load blank crowd members.

Do you guys play with Ambient Occlusion shadows on? As added through the Nvidia thing? The clusters of different models could cause issues with that.

Me too. I run 2K very smoothly but when i try to play with this, it lags. And i was surprised even the Draft Day (when David Stern does that on Association) it lags.

there is nothing in this mod that would affect an association file, or anything like the draft.

Yeah, it just made me wonder. Because the lag started to happen after i added the mod.
