It would be great if you can use just the center of the scoreboard and not all the width. If that's the case, you can make a scoreboard like TNT and only change the Y position of the panels. Something like this:

Image

Just a couple of inches up, different background and no need to change the X position, what was the most difficult part according to you.

Now I have to study, but I will leave the PC recording a game, so I can comeback and see if I encounter anything new.

Me too.
Maybe such information was outside of the screen earlier? Or maybe this is just a rare stat? I do not know
But I vote 99,9% this is a rare stat,

This is a legitimate static (as in hard-coded) stat overlay. It shows up occasionally, just like those Last Season things (worst winning percentage in the NBA for the Bobcats, career highs in FG% and 3P% for Lebron James, etc.) They're not dynamic, as in they don't change no matter what you do in the season, but they are shown as stat overlays.

Now I used the file 6 and I founded 6 colors, and I also found one thing I've never seen before:

That on the bottom right is the small stat overlay that shows up INSIDE the original scoreboard. It's new in 2K13. It's supposed to substitute the teams and team scores for a few seconds in the scoreboard. It can show up concurrently with other stat overlays.

And that's why the background of the numbers and teams dissapear. Anyway, it's the first time I saw that, maybe is because is the first time I pay attention.

Altitude.TV and others will be concidered YES or NOT only after:

1- Fixed Slideout texts for previous scoreboards
2- Updated scoreboard textures

Regarding slidout texts, thank you all who tried to help and sent pics here.

After evaluation of various subjects, I can say that manually edit slidout texts is mission impossible. I could give you a ton of explanations here but this does not hepl us.

So... at first I will try to release version where all stats fits nicely below the scoreboard, but all the letters will be narrowed. This is a trick which allows to have at least something. Later on maybe I'll be able to manage something better.

For FOX and NBA scoreboards these letters could be slightly wider as scoreboards are wider too.

What do you think? Is it still playable?

P.s. don't ask to move this to center

This is a huge improvement over the default with the ESPN scoreboard, so absolutely. Of course you'll have people who complain about it, but there's always the option of not using it... I, for one, will definitely use it if it's released exactly as in the preview above. If FOX or NBA TV ends up being a little easier to read, maybe those instead, but I think it's definitely worth releasing. Great job, and your continued efforts in an area where you're essentially working on your own with nobody else trying to do similar work is certainly appreciated.

Since the scoreboards are mounted similarly, would doing a full overhaul of a TNT scoreboard with slideouts be a possibility, or is it just too much to have to edit?

What I would do then is release what you have for ESPN and the like, and not spend too much time or effort. Since the right aligned ones should be easier to manage, I would spend my efforts on an updated TNT scoreboard with team logo colors, and working on all the violation, slideout, etc. panels to make a full TNT integration, if possible, since it is a major TV provider of NBA games.
