No i mean the actual gameplay. Like 2 halves instead of 2 quarters. I'm assuming hex editing.


you could probably use a memory editor to start the game in the third quarter, with 20 minute quarters, but I doubt the shot clock thing is possible, or that the game will behave properly either way.

Update on rosters: basic and advanced stats for all 30 teams complete! Now I need to add all of the shot location data to the teams. Unfortunately this is the most tedious part as I must copy each players' shot data from each game's shot chart. IF ANYONE KNOWS of a site that has a database with college players shot location data that would really speed things up! Either way, still looking at a fully complete and accurate roster in (hopefully) less than a week!

Hey guys, quick update on the rosters. Haven't done much of anything with them the past couple days but wanted to get this update posted:

About 75% done, just need to input shot data for 12 more teams. After that I'll do a final overview and check and these will be good to go.

Jao, I think the roster is pretty self explanatory, skills output in the "output" tab, default tendencies for each play style under the "Tendency Data" tab, and shot location specific tendency output under the "Shot Location Tendencies" tab. If you have any questions let me know

very VERY nice John. I will try and get this imported asap, but I'll still need to manipulate it a bit since we don't have names in the roster, but we do have numbers.

If anyone wants to try and beat me to it, go fer it. I will see what I can get done asap, but I do have a couple things to prioritize first.

Did you use real player's numbers? or just random numbers? I think I included all of the player's numbers in the "Input" tab (you may have to scroll over a bit) so that could help with implementing it quicker. Hope this helps!

I looked forever for an NCAA equivalent of Hoopdata, it would be really nice if there was one! If there was I could have 100 teams done in a day, the most time-consuming part was adding up shot location data from each individual game.

*Create maybe only focus on the Power 6 conferences and who gives a crap for the rest and assign like one person to two teams

Couple quick things:
1. I simulated a season and Indiana won the title (pretty good result as they were preseason #1 in real life)
2. Cody Zeller won player of the year and Nerlens Noel was defensive player of the year.

Overall pretty good stats and accuracy, however, I am going to adjust the rating formula to weight players based on how good their team is in real life, using each team's rpi and strength of schedule. For example, even though a player on Rhode island puts up the same numbers as a player from Duke in real life, it doesn't mean he should be as good as him in the game. Will put out an update soon.

Also, I need to finish reviewing each teams' tendencies (ie. shouldn't have a center bringing the ball up).
