sir i have the same problem with this in your ESPN v3.. i already change the value to 00 and when i play again it's view in black... but later on it's come back again in white... what should i do? pls.. help...

It is difficult to fix as I do not have such problem and can't test if this works.
Just logically thinking this should help.

My 2k13's language only has one option-Traditional Chinese, when I use your ESPN or NBA TV scoreboard, something happened like this.
Is it possible to fix this? Thanks for your help.

If you about Quarter text too wide...
Open newscorebug.iff with hex editor and go to offset 5b292.
Change value to "0c" (default 2k).

Also it is very interesting that your fonts differ from those that have to be in the game. Your is like "Arial font", while I have more bold fonts. Probably different game versions and hieroglyphs can't be bold

For example, in Traditional Chinese, 1st = 第一節, 2nd = 第二節

In English it only has two characters(1st ), but in Traditional Chinese we have three characters(第一節)
If I guess right , can you teach me how to edit the word's size of the quarter with hex editor? really thanks for your help. Hope you can understand what I mean

Hey hey, I never said we are fixing the position. I just ask you to bring WIDHT to 2K default size.
Anyway... All procedures stay the same, again we are fixing width

Just make the value smallers.
Google for decimar to binary converter (or dispklay as decimal at hex) if needed, but basics are as follows:

bibnary - decimal
FF - 256
0b-11, 0a-10, 09-9, 09-9, 08-08, 07-7.... 00-0

Lower the value and WIDTH becomes smaller.
Sure this may cause that an object can move to side, this is standard everywhere.

Change CD CC 44 3F CD CC 44 3F CD CC 44 3F to something lower. Bytes that are responsible for size are "44" (this is in binary, in decimal 68). Make these smaller

maumau78, your monitor has a native aspect ratio of 16:10, and you want to use a 4:3 resolution? That makes no sense. 4:3 is a nearly square resolution, while 16:10 is widescreen. There's no point in using a 4:3 resolution in a widescreen monitor, unless you enjoy your image stretched or with black bars, as I mentioned.

That's what I like Leftos ... Stretched image with black bars on top & bottom.

so the new question is: can I play on native 1680x1050 resolution and "stretch" the image like we can do with a movie with the VLC function "aspect ratio"??
I mean...can we change this with a PC utility?

Uploading original files is against TOS and actions like these are forbidden. If you want original scoreboard just download update from 2k servers in game, after that just copy file into 2k13 folder. Oh wait....

I worked hard to create home/away logos and have to say I had about 50% success.
It is really hard to do this.
Maybe later will find how to make it
