I think Knight + Billups works this season. They can go out next season and try to land a big PG if they do anything big -- if I'm not mistaken they have room for another big salary (even after extending Monroe). Honestly, I'm not convinced on Trey Burke. He played for an absolutely horrendous Jazz Summer League team, but he routinely shot around 20% every game. It looked to big for him, but at least he wasn't turning the ball over constantly.

I'd probably thank my lucky stars that you got Caldwell-Pope. He seems like he could be a serviceable 3&D guy, even if he's just a career role player. You guys can get the pick of the litter PG if you throw out a max deal next year.

I was thinking perhaps we should update all the players heights and weights especially the rookies who have grown for example andre drummond is listed at 6'10 hes now 7 ft tall 280lb's.
We all know durant is at least 6'11 to 7ft tall he is clearly taller then ibaka when they stand next to each other.
Paul George is 6'10 he is taller then david west when they stand next to each other.
Im sure anthony davis has grown but i dont watch the pelicans so i wont comment on how tall he might be.
Cant think of any more off the top of my head but i think we should pursue this to create a more realistic roster. It would make matchups more important in association to get the heights correct.

George is 6-10 in the roster already.

Some that I can think of:
Garnett --> 7-1
Durant --> already 6-10 in the roster, but like you said probably closer to 6-11 or 7-0
Drummond --> he actually measured at the pre-draft camp last year at 6-11.75 with shoes on. I don't know why he lists himself as 6-10.
Tyreke Evans --> is apparently closer to 6-4?
JJ Barea --> is definitely not 6-0

I'll have to think about these. There was an article in Grantland or something that talked about the biggest NBA height liars.

Yeah with billups mentoring knight and siva and coming off the bench this season along with Bynum i think we're fine at the pg position for the season. Rumor is that the pistons may trade Knight and monroe for Rondo toward the trade deadline. We'll have around 14M cap room assuming we don't extend stuckey and charlie vil, maybe we can land someone young if we don't get rondo. Yea burke hasn't played well in the summer league but he was amazing at Michigan, we'll just have to see how it goes in the season but I have high hopes for him.

I mean, I dont think KCP will be bad at all, he's actually really good but Knight was good at the 2, there was no point in drafting another 2 and moving knight back at the 1 when he was moved to shooting guard earlier in the year because he sucked at point guard lol.

Re: NBA365 Project - Updated 7/20 (Big Update!)

Postby lakers92 on Sat Jul 20, 2013 1:46 pm

Did a small update a few minutes ago. I changed some blatantly incorrect heights. I probably don't want to go much further than this, it opens way more cans of worms than I'd care to take on. I was thinking about Tyreke, but he measured at 6-5.25 in shoes at 19 so he's close enough to his 6-6 listing. Kevin Love is another player that is often talked about. He measured at 6-9.5 at the pre-draft camp, he's close enough.

LAL - Shawne Williams (training camp invite)
DET - Andre Drummond (now 7-0) --> listed at 6-11.75 w/ shoes last spring at 18 yrs old
OKC - Kevin Durant (now 6-11) --> honestly, who can dispute this?
BKN - Kevin Garnett (now 7-0) --> well known around the league apparently that he is 7-1. I just kept it conservative.
MIN - JJ Barea (now 5-11) --> measured at 5-10.75 many years ago at the pre-draft camp.
IND - Paul George has always been 6-10 in this roster.

Can you check the Play Now Alby's Roster? With the latest update, I have Greg Stiemsma's cf on Nate Wolters, and it looks like Wolters's CF ended up on Erik Murphy.

lakers92, you're the man. I think I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate all the work you put into these rosters. You really make this game 10x better than it is on default.

Thanks again for everything. You're a good guy.

That's because Wolters had blond hair and he looks like Stiemsma kind of, except his face is more squished. If somebody could edit the headshape of that, that would be cool. Erik Murphy looks more like Nate Wolters old face (which looked nothing like them -- except they were both white).

Performed liposuction. He's now 220 -- to keep in line with that whole draft combine weight thing. I had originally gotten he and Adonis switched.

2KWatcher wrote:Hey man I loaded up the 'PlayNow - Medevenxv1.1b - Bobcats.ROS' from that link and the Hornets are named the pelicans, I already fixed this in RedMC just a heads up.

I'll excuse you for living under a rock. The Hornets have been the Pelicans since July 1st.

rovert22044 wrote:Tried my first Association last night. Everything went near-perfectly until I ran into a cyberface problem. I was using the Rockets; one of my favorite players on the team is Robert Covington (SF/PF). But after the first year in the season, his cyberface was mysteriously changed. Covington is an African-American, but the very next year, he turned into this pretty-looking white guy. haha I found it funny as it didn't really bother me THAT much since I let him go from the team to open up some roster space.

But just a heads up.

That's really weird. Anyway, he'll have a fictional CF in today's release that should help fix that.

Well it's just like I don't want to play with fictional jerseys, etc. but great roster overall

Since today is probably going to be a slow day, I'm taking time to add/edit the 11 new players that weren't in the original rosters.
Marko Todorovic
Romero Osby
Joffrey Lauvergne
Janis Timma
Luigi Datome
Dwight Buycks
Arsalan Kazemi
Gal Mekel
Allen Iverson
Stephon Marbury
Baron Davis

I may release today, maybe not.

royieee wrote:can you guys make portrait for the 2014 draft ?

Ask JMaster12.

They have faces in pack #6. Like I've said in the OP, when I update -- all you need to download is #6 (sometimes) and the rosters. Pack #6 is created specifically for people like you in mind.

Is there any way we can add the classic teams back in?
Id like to create a more challenging and balanced NBA, where any team has the roster on paper to contend for a championship.
To do so id need those old time greats like jordan and shaq and wilt and olajuwon.
But i still want the rookies in the game.

I think BJ Youngs face would fit better on Dwight Buycks. He used to have braids like that but now he has a mohawk/fauxhawk.

Not a big deal, but I just read on a NBA site that the Bobcats won't be the Hornets until the 2014-15 season. So this coming season they are still the Bobcats.

Going to try my hardest to update today. I've added Nikola Mirotic and Bojan Bogdanovic in addition to those players I mentioned earlier.

Will be releasing the new rosters in about an hour. There were no new moves today, so I compensated by adding/editing more players. I also changed the draftprojection tab, so the draft order should be correct in MyCareer. Quick, does anyone know how to make the Stars and Elites show this years rookies?! I tried adding them to the Stars/Elites team in the teams tab, but the 2012 rookies are still showing when I start a MyCareer. If someone can give me a solution in the next hour, I'll include it in today's update.

PLUS: You can get a jump on the new update by downloading the new Pack #6. I've already updated it to include the new faces in today's roster update.

Added:
POR - Marko Todorovic
ORL - Romero Osby
DEN - Joffrey Lauvergne
MEM - Janis Timma
DET - Luigi Datome
TOR - Dwight Buycks
PHI - Arsalan Kazemi
DAL - Gal Mekel
FA - Allen Iverson
FA - Stephon Marbury
FA - Baron Davis
FA - Nikola Mirotic
FA - Bojan Bogdanovic

Released at 12:05am EST.

What's the difference between the FA rosters and Play it now rosters? Aren't they the same? And how do you remove that shot selection box that pops up that grades you if you take a bad shot? Never seen that before.

They are. I just renamed them to make it easier for people to understand which roster does what. It was too difficult to read the .txt file included in the roster pack for most users  .
