NBA365 - Upd 9/05 (with UJP)

v0.3 is out! Sorry for the wait, I fully intended to release it yesterday but the rookies were still bugging out a little. The only problem with the rookies now is a) all players don't have a cyberface and b) Ray McCallum, Giannis and Thanasis Adetokunbo both have very small spelling errors in their last names, but Red MC will not save the file when I try to change the name. This can't be changed with the TurboTrainer, so I don't really know what to do at this point. Maybe one of you guys could try and send me a working file if you have success?

If you don't want to do the prior offseason tasks, you can just scroll down on your offseason menu to the NBA Draft, hit spacebar, choose "sim all tasks" or whatever. I assume that you were probably going one by one and getting all those notifications, it'd make me want to tear my hair out too.

If you have the players, arenas, teams, staff, player_stats, team_stats, jerseys and awards tabs in Red MC, follow the directions I gave Larvae for a one-team association. Remember, you'll have to trade around the draft picks yourself even after you copy-paste all those things, which is extremely time consuming. If you make this, send it to me so I don't have to do it!

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but it's finished for the rest of the day My goal is to try and update this through the offseason so in the off-chance NBA2K14 is not released for PC, association mode won't become a lameduck. The next big blockbuster release will be with Med's v1.1 roster.

Now it's in three packages, but kind of like a super small version of the UBR, if you already have Part 1 and 2 you won't have to download them again.

I tried it in mine and everything works fine. I did find a bug though. The Charlotte Hornets purple jersey appears to crash the game. Wonder if this is happening to anyone else?

NBADraft.net and draftexpress also have mock drafts. You can use those for 2014.

Like I told Larvae on the first page, I don't have a version with just one team. You'd have to manually make it yourself -- which I detail on the end of the first page. All you have to do is do a bunch of copy-pasting and trade the draft picks. However, if you just wanted to play with one team, you can always sim through the things you don't want to do for the other teams. I just find a 30 team association is better because there is a 0% chance Chris Paul signs with the Pistons this offseason.

Yeah, he even signed with the Mavs in my Association. Then Iguodala opt out of his contract to join the Mavs to then the next year or so i believe, Pierce joins the Mavs. And they ain't winning

Any of them will be fine. Everyone has their own personal taste, and each roster does something well. When/if URB7 is released, I'll probably make a version with that one too (depending on how compatible the draft classes are).

Update: Merging some of my new data into Alby's roster is taking a lot longer than I expected. Where's the Roster Merge tool from 2K12 when I need it!

Due to time constraints and trying to get the best product out BEFORE the draft, this will be 30 team only until after the draft. After the draft, I'll no longer have to trade draft picks, so making different versions should not be that difficult. I'm planning on the first release of Alby's on Thursday (today if I'm lucky). If you wanted to take a "template one player association" and manually trade the draft picks, I'll give you the file and wish you luck on finishing by the draft! Obviously, this will probably come the same day as the release, so no sooner than that.

I've done most of my player editing, now it's time to move onto the coaches where I expect to be much more detailed than the first 3 releases. I've also devised a method to switch the order of the teams in about 10 minutes rather than taking several days. This means the new Hornets (old Bobcats) show up after the Heat and the new Pelicans (old Hornets) show up after the Pacers. For those of you that didn't like that about v0.1,2,3 (probably no one), it's fixed now.

It will release tonight. I'm just trading draft picks, cleaning up loose ends, changing the 47 head coaches & head coaching prospects skill levels and it's going to be out. Stay tuned.

Released! Here are some of the new changes in v1.0 (in addition to what was changed in the previous versions, I'm sure I'm forgetting some things):

1) New version with Alby's RR7
2) Updated Alby's RR7 2013 Draft class to more accurately portray the players
3) Added 16 new head coaching prospects and fixed head coaches to reflect current positions today
4) Changed the order of the teams so the Hornets now appear after the Heat
5) Changed contracts to accurate amounts and fixed any restricted free agency bugs
6) Retired Jason Kidd & Grant Hill

WARNING: Alby's draft classes do not sim nearly as close to real life as the ones by @derito. If you control all the teams, this shouldn't be a problem since you can pick the order yourself. But do not sim and expect accurate results, you will never get them. Alby's draft classes were included in the Alby's RR7 association mod because they are rated to play well with Alby's roster.

EDIT: Made a small change after release to fix the accessory colors for the Nets, Pelicans, and Hornets to the Association file.

Yeah. Download that Part 1 though, it'll give you the Pelicans and Hornets files that you definitely need -- I'm sure they're not included in those 20 packs. I'd also download the rookie faces too just to make sure.

EDIT: Also noticed that the Bobcats version still showed the Hornets court, so I changed it back to the Bobcats.

For those of you interested, Med's v1.1b did release today with a fix to the association bug. I've gotten about 50% done with it, but all these copy-pasting and trying to make things work together is making my head spin.

I still need to complete about 4 or 5 hours worth of work on it and it should be done. I might take a few days off (so I can enjoy my mod)! The current v0.3 for Med isn't that far off from the new version if you're looking to start an association and absolutely must have Med's roster then just use that one.

Just a reminder for anyone asking, I WILL NOT be making anything besides 30 team versions until after the draft. Trading draft picks is much too hard as it is, but when you have to resign your position thousands of times, it will literally take days. Be patient everyone and enjoy!
