I am still getting crashes when using FinalURB2015.ROS to create a new season. I think before we were thinking it was a cyberface file. I originally downloaded the new LeBron and Rose CFs, and since then I have re-downloaded the Part6 and the URBv32.

Always it's at the end of first qtr or 3rd qtr. The last thing that happens is I hear the horn signifying the end of the quarter, and then an immediate crash to desktop. I don't see any log file created by the game that tell me what is going on. Sko, you said earlier to look at the preview screen for each week's game. Where exactly do you find this preview screen? Do you have to start each game and see the screen at the beginning where one star from each team is spinning the ball around, or is it somewhere else.

And should I also look at the cyberface files to see if any .png files are in the 5-7 mb size range?

As I said before, the way I have been doing this is making a copy of the roster file, loading it in-game, then starting a new season. I can also just load the URB2015 season file as opposed to the roster but then for each day on the schedule I have to select individually to sim each game until I get to the team I want to control. When I start a new season, it automatically sims all but my team's games.

It was Curry's CF png1612.iff with 3.51 MB that still causing your game to crash everytime he's being featured in upcoming team matchup, I assume you didn't noticed my post about in the previous page.

jtrotter, I have not tried to move people around during a season. I assume it would involve closing the game, open that league in REDmc and then edit the TeamID1 and TeamID2 for each player, but then you'd have to go to the team tab and change the player IDs in the lineups too, etc.

I would defer to sko on that question.

Not only lineups but situationals also.

Ofc you can edit everything but like i said, you must be careful, when you change Rondo Team id 1 and 2, you need to do something with Rondo in Team tab, because he will be still there, in Dallas roster. You must replace Rondo with other player(for example Barea) in Dallas starting five(in Teams tab) and you must put -1 in Barea player ID(team tab) to stop duplicating. The you must look into situationals(Team tab) and be sure there will be no Rondo(player Id). After this you must put Rondo player id into Lakers roster(Team Tab). Its simple but you must be accurate.
You can change starting five, minutes etc, but probably when some player is injured stupid game will switch to default rotations again. This is how it works in all 2k games.

Thanks for getting back to me regarding my previous question about RedMC @skoadam @MrMojok69, I've been busy lately playing the game and modifying the roster trying to put contender teams and core/star players back in the 2K15 roster, hopefully I got everything right so I won't encounter any problems. @Skoadam please give us some hint when you are going to release the big update you mentioned previously? I don't want to spend too much time on my current game if your next release would be so much better

ok, so all you have to do MrMojok69 is to download steph curry different cf from nlsc or moddingway and replace with one used in urb, i dont have any problems with this cf but in some weird way its problematic for others, maybe video settings idk.

I don't have problem with that CF in-game but once any Player using HD Cyberface is being featured during the end of 1st or 3rd Quarter, it'll surely end up crashing the game. It could be that we're using lower end graphic cards maybe?

I do know that my video card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Ti/ 2G GDDR5. I don't remember the resolution I am using but I can check tonight.

There are total of 30 Teams in the NBA all you have to do is to find the Top Ranked Player in each team for the current roster that you are playing and list it here. We can start from there to identify which one causing your game to crash. You can exclude those guys that you are familiar with or you're always seeing during upcoming match up.

That's a pretty decent graphic card, we can now assume that those conclusions about VGA is now irrelevant.

MrMojok69, just check your player details set, Curry is working ok for me, slimm and now you confirmed this. I dont think there is any other cf causing crash. Both Rose and LBJ was made by the same modder, size of those files are the same(around 11MB).
There is also Kevin Love cf, but its hard to believe he can show up between quarters.

I guess I could assign a CF globally to all players and see if it crashes. But I am starting to become afraid that it may be something peculiar to my hardware or something like that.

If only there was some easy and quick way to check it, rather than waiting for the 1st quarter or 3rd quarter commercials. I've never had it crash while playing, only during those two breaks. And If I understand correctly, that is totally random. It might show a commercial for an upcoming game that is tomorrow on the schedule, or it could show a preview for one that is five days out, right?

Nope, I am at work now. I will have to check when I get home. I think you and I are about eight or nine hours apart.

Also thinking of just wiping the entire game from my hard drive, including the folders it leaves behind in programfiles(x86), save folder, and everything in the registry that says 2k sports.

Then reinstall, and lastly reinstall the mod.

You can easily end a quarter by using Rozj Tools http://forums.nba-live.com/downloads.ph ... df_id=3723 this would save you a lot of time and would let you test things further. Just keep repeating the game that consistently crashed on you, don't let it go to the next game.

Since you are using a custom roster, it's hard to identify which player have a faulty CF in your part. I've personally tested Chicago vs Portland game with FinalURB2015 when you posted about it last time and mine only crashed on Curry. But if you are seeing Curry in your part then it could be other's player instead, I've attached Curry's Default CF from 2K13 and the faulty one that crashing on me, if you haven't tested replacing Curry's CF yet then I would like you to test it. Just rename it from Default_png1612.iff to png1612.iff

It sucks when your plan for custom season is messed up because of this crashes, I'm wiiling to help until you find the culprit in your end

You bought RedMC full version to have ability edit things your way and I assume continue playing while building your Dynasty right? How much does it cost you? I'm on a tight budget here and not sure if I'll be able to get the premium addons

MrMojok69, if your game crashes every single time in every game after 1st or 3rd its for sure not cf problem. If its random, from time to time its for sure cf.

I think it costs like $32-$34 USD but that's for all the options. You can pick and choose what you want.

There was one option that enabled it to open files other than .ROS files, like the season (which I think is .FXG) which was much cheaper. Another option was for override rotations, etc.

Sko, it appears to be random. Sometimes I make it through those quarter breaks just fine, other times CTD. I think I will know more in a couple of hours.

8034 is the next-largest one I see, 3119 kb

jtrotterj, I am now using that png for Curry you supplied. The filesize on my original one was identical to the one inside the archive you named "defective"

I played two games last night, and let it play on coach mode for one game by itself, and it did not crash. Maybe it was this Curry cf, not sure. Maybe I just got lucky and it will crash tonight? I will let you know.

You have to test it further atleast 5-10 games until you see Curry in the Matchup Break, use rozj tools to end quarter at easily. Anyway I'm confident it was Curry, those HD cyberface cause crashes during 1st and 3rd Quarter break. I just recently download Marc Gasol and Tim Duncan HD CF and it's crashing like crazy, it so sad that I can't use those very realistic CF's
