Somebody other gonna make 2014. I think about skoadam and his URB 7.0

Presumably, you posted your roster here because you thought people would enjoy using it. You were doing a service for the 2k13 community. If it happens to show up on other sites, that just means more people will use it. If there were some people who were stupid enough to grab the roster from a site that was making ad money from them, that's their problem.
I think there has to be a certain expectation that when you post your work to a free-registration site on the internet, and it's good work, it will make it's way all over the internet in time.

Dijourno18 wrote:i agree totally..i really do appreciate all the effort u put into this project as it made nba 2k13 so much more enjoyable for me..but at the same time more people are enjoying the game because of u...it is rude that the people reposted your work without your consent but other people are given the opportunity to enjoy the game like us. maybe u could add a link to this forum in the start up screen to prevent people from crediting themselves? anyway it's ur choice once again, thank u very much for all the work u put into the project.
Dijourno18 wrote:editing my post..i just saw ur post and i think my suggestion can really help solve the issue... the UBR for nba 2k12 had a link to the twitter of the creator at the start up screen.. since the people just steal ur work and have no clue how to actually create mods i'm sure that they wouldn't be able to remove the link to this forum.

Hmm.... I know what you mean! On the plus side, that would direct everybody here. On the negative side, that would direct everybody here. We would get a flood of shitty posters and the people that frequent that site where stealing is rampant, I doubt we want them here. Bit of a catch-22.
Dijourno18 wrote:well the people on the site who download ur project may not be all shitty posters, they might not be aware of this site. i remember i use to download mods from there before i came here. i didn't know that the mods there were stolen. like i said it's ur decision, u make the rosters and im sure everyone would respect ur decision if u were to stop until this gets cleared. the only solution i could think of was the link to this forum with your name etc at the start screen.

Shut the hell up. At first they didnt give him credit. He had pm them numerous times butt head. He wants to keep his mod here. Not on other sites making money off of it. I've been going to these sites for months now they haven't had this much action it a while. How would you feel if you made a song and then someone took it and started making bank off of it, and then say sorry here i credited you but you still see no $. Plus they didnt credit everyone else until today and other sites didnt even do that.keeks wrote:what a crybaby... they gave u credit on their site so stop bitching
skoadam wrote:lakers92, bro, u cant stop stealing, its modding issue-my work was stolen so many times-there is no way to stop stealing, u cant secure your hard work by PM your roster and its against meaning of modding. Mods is for free and for everyone. I know its hard, and ure angry but u must live with that and just keep patching.
