[R4zoR]Cyberfaces - 1st Kyle Korver Preview

Great job on creating the old courts and like everyone I am glad they are being made in such detail. Can I please ask if you could make a few corrections to the courts you have made and future courts since you can make your lines in 3D now? If you look at the diagram above the black lines show you were the NBA and College and 3 point lines should be placed. The colored 3 point lines in red/blue are the ones currently placed on your courts but they are not quite right. I know the 3 point line in blue is actually right for a few NBA seasons in the mid 90's when the NBA shortened it. Still I think you should use the current NBA line instead even when creating those years because the game will only recognize the current one when scoring a players shot. I hope all court makers can do this before adding any new courts to the Ultimate base roster so it's as accurate as possible.

Just shaking my head man, for the hawks and nets i used the default 2k lines, so how can they be at the wrong place tell me? the same goes with those other 2 teams, i draw those lines over at the same spots, only the wolves court has a little bigger line cause i couldn't recolor it right cause of the 2k models. Just dunno man those models aren't like nba lives one's, you can't control all the things at once or add anything new to them.

Do i look like i'm a paid question answering company? Hell no man, i have my own life, i'm a basketball player that's trying to get his life look a lot better for himself than it is right now, i'll might even leave my country just to go the USA next year, so i didn't have the time to even answer you cause you asked that question when it was 4am at my place, i just got online and i have 25+ pm's not answered at the moment.
As a matter of fact, just because i mentioned those college lines and etc, people been pm'ing, just because of that and left my thread, until they beg the answers out of me.

And well i can't break myself into two pieces, to do something new for you guys and answer all of those questions it takes me some time to do so.

And i know after this preview i'll have 15+ more messages but oh well, it's okay, i'll answer them nonetheless.

And btw telling someone they are ignoring pm's on the internet makes me laugh a bit , i have made so much for you guys, so many weeks spent on this and i'm still getting bullshited, cause i don't answer a simple question, if you had the time and willingness to do some searching yourself, you wouldn't ask me the same thing, cause most of my answers to line coloring related questions is this:

A little defensive? LOL. It was a question, not a bad remark. I was asking help with a community mod project. Not that out of line. Simple, I am busy would have sufficed, not your whole life story. Just chill out. I will not bother to ask for help from you anymore then. Obviously I like your technique I was just trying to get a little help with something. Also, do not assume you have a busier life then me because 100% guarantee you do not. I did not say you won't answer PM's, but you have ignored mine since you helped with the FLA court, so do not deny that. We appreciate it your help with these tutorials and stuff but do not assume you are better than anyone, your remarks sometimes hint that.

I do not see the need for shadow to call people idiots if you are referring to my post when I asked a simple question, I was not mad in any way. It is the internet. People forget that quite often.

My post was addressed in general after reading pages of this thread.

I have always talked like that my man, i'm an honest person, started to think, that people are trying to piggyback their way using me to make all those things for them, man you can get easily burnt out by that, that's why i'm trying to keep myself from all these random things, especially these one's man, how am i gonna answer a question that was asked at 4:00am my time, when i had a practice with my fitness coach on 6:15am then school till nearly 4pm, my phone probably picked up that i was online or sth, so you thought i was sitting 24/7 online huh?
Btw talking about thinking that someone is better at patching and etc, this is just complete bullshit man, do you think i'm gonna achieve something for my later life from making a tutorial online? Nope not at all, atleast i get to chat with complete strangers, that i don't even know and i answer their questions everyday, does that make me a better person, not really, no one will ever ask you if you are good at patching and i mean no one, it's just a bs thing that's been created by the public, tbh no one can say that they're good at something, cause there isn't such a thing, we are all equal human beings, only certain people want something more from their lifes, so they work harder to achieve that, that's why i'm multitasking everyday, doing something right and typing is one of my relaxation methods. This question is for anyone that knows blender. I cannot manage to get the double lines to work in the NBA 2k editor once made. Anyway to add the 2nd 3 pt line, yet be able to make the files the same size so they will import into the NBA 2k editor. I tried deleting various things but no luck. Is there a different way to do this?

I tried R4zoR method for my own and got the same issue that Bleed have trying to add 3pt line. Any ideas?

To be honest with you, you can always get those logos back using blender, i removed them, cause i knew that i wasn't going to use them for my current courts(2013 ones)

By the way, here's a new thing i want to introduce to you, just for trying something new and more interesting this time.

New texture sizes for the arm textures

The default one's were 512x512 but the game recognized them as 256x256 so they were really blurred out, just a few default pics for some examples.
2K Defaults:




And now the new one's 1024x1024 the game will recognize them as 512x512 one's so they look so much crispier in the game.

Give some thoughts guys and if you all want to know, the iff's will be less needed now if you want to know that.

Yeah, the only problem it would be is getting all those textures from all the players to be hd, not using iff files anymore, cause i know 85 percent of people would want to see a lebron in hd(512x512) in game

Wow man, hats off to you for your hard work and discoveries, and thank you!

Try not to let some people get to you, many see that you're good at this and also you broke ground with this new technique so they immediately want to make requests and get questions answered, and since this is a basketball video game we're talking about a lot of folks are young kids and\or immature. You see it a lot on the other sites (i.e: "OMG! NICE CF 100/10! CAN YOU DO THESE 8 PLAYERS FOR ME").

And then they get real nasty when they don't get their way

just keep doing your thang fam, I have requests too but you found the technique so I should put in work to try doing it myself first
