Dubai, United Arab Emirates & Cairo, Egypt
indoor arenas, and I have a "smaller" arena idea I've been just waiting for a project like this to try out
I had the same ideas and i was looking for that topic to post them
can you make a cage arena like that :
Tue Feb 26, 2013 11:29 pm
yea, I can, but I meant more like just keeping the lower bowl of the arenas in-game, it provides a nice effect/atmosphere in my testing

Thanks. I was just trying to think of the most popular cities in the world that weren't represented. I'll look at the list again when I get home from work.

There is any chance to add Mar del Plata, Argentina on the selected cities? There's where the last preoloimpic been played and the City of the Club that is on a 4 winning championship streak.
Fri Mar 01, 2013 11:18 am

Basically, smaller arenas, retro style shot clocks, no reflections, jumbotron screens on the ground, possibly on the court itself. Watch dat video for the full story

aaaand divisions set. Check the first post

Add Kaunas, Lithuania
that's where Big Z and Sabas are from
Sun Mar 03, 2013 4:31 am
too late man, I gave plenty of time and notice to swap out the teams. Now that i've gotten team colors from all these cities' flags, its done.
Sun Mar 03, 2013 6:59 am
Add Belgrade, Serbia...
Sun Mar 03, 2013 7:55 am
Oh come on, how can you add a team in Ireland and not a team in Lithuania. D:
Edit: You could just change Frankfurt. Germany already has a team and Kaunas' (Lithuania) flag colours are pretty much the same as Frankfurt's.
Sun Mar 03, 2013 9:34 am
you guys had plenty of time, no more teams are being swapped.
Mon Mar 04, 2013 12:00 am
How about setting the divisions based on geographical position? For example Athens, Rome & Istanbul could be in the same division.
Despite the pass of the deadline you set, I agree that Germany shouldn't have 2 teams.
Mon Mar 04, 2013 1:36 am
the big divisions (of the full 15 teams) are loosely based on geological location. The 1/2/3 divisions are due to groupings for each 30 team league. I based those off of size mostly.

so, I did a new dev dairy which is listed in the first post detailing the many failures I've had over the past weeks and then posed a question. For the uniforms and floors, should I use the American English names for the cities, or the localized names and scripts?
Vote in the poll plz.
I should note that menus are going to have American English names simply due to the lettering limitations. I'm talking about specifically uniforms and floors.

I think the local versions would make more sense for the floors and uniforms. As long as the menus are in nice American English, there shouldn't be too much confusion.

I cast my vote for american-english but after thinking about it I agree with this. Αθήνα
