Great mod!

I've spent a little time with it, and so far one thing I would change is George Mikan a little bit.

I believe his signature skills should be:
Post Proficiency
Post Playmaking
Bruiser

Mikan's name is usually mentioned along with shot blocking because he forced a rule change to outlaw offensive goaltending, but he never was a shot blocker like Russell. Therefor I don't believe he should have the eraser skill

He was a great passer out of the post which allowed his teams to win.

And example you can look at to see my case for him being a great post passer is during the 1949 NBA Finals.

Mikan scored 42 points in game 1. In game 2 he was double teamed, causing him to score only 10 points. But his passing led to shooters getting wide open looks, and the Lakers won the game. His passing was what made the Lakers so dangerous during the 40's and 50's.

Bruiser is also essential(which you already gave him). A fellow player once say "Mikan's elbows should be in the hall of fame".

Sorry this is a little lengthy but wanted to show these changes would really add to the realism and not that I just pulled them out of thin air. :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback, bro. :) But we need to equip as much signature skills as players display. Can you suggest any replacements? :D

EDIT: I kind of overlooked that one. So, Post Playmaker replaces Eraser. Got it. (Y)

I have a suggestion. Why not make some extras teams like a 3pt specialists team with reggie miller, ray allen... and a dunk specialists team with MJ, dominique etc... Like teams with the best of the best in certain skills.

UPDATE: I'm sorry for those who have been waiting, but I haven't been working on the roster for the past week, actually. :| I've been busy meddling with a few cyberfaces, and since my request of a Melo with cornrows hasn't been done yet, I decided to do it myself. Haha. Alright, I'm ready for insults.

Image

I tried to tidy it up a bit, just in case some guys there wanna get more of the "feel" back when Melo was in Denver. It has a lot of problems in the braids, though. I took 'em from 2K's Ronny Turiaf. :)

Anyway, with the REDitor (or more accurately, the RED Modding Center) now out, here are some things I plan to implement:
- Accurate draft information
- Specific personality parameters
- All-time all-star teams
- Some other things I haven't thought about quite yet

Unfortunately, the latter ones need some dough out of the wallet. :( Let's see if I can get some cash out of my own. :cheeky:

Alright, 'til next time peeps. Peace out.

Not exacly, PhilJackson. :| These problems are what I'm talking about:

I'd really appreciate if someone could suggest a cyberface within 2K13 that I could use as a base for his braids. I tried AI and Kawhi among many others, but they don't quite fit in that well. You got some names there, people? :cheeky:

EDIT: Please enclose the list you have there within spoiler tags. It might be inconvenient for other posters. Thank you. :)

The first sentence refers to the mistake I mad in my mod in 2K12, the one I referred to you last time for references.

The later one is a sample of the all time teams during the early 2000s. You can also use them as basis :)

How bout R4Zor's 2k12 With Cornrows ? it's just like melo's current hair only cornrowed and w/o braids..
The Braids are the only problem , i guess ?

Sorry if I didn't reply right away, Slace. I honestly didn't see your post, bro. :) Anyway, I'd love to use your idea, especially now with the REDitor out, but that'll be pretty one-sided, if you know what I mean. Say, for example, if you place a team of 3-point specialists under lockdown defenders like Shane Battier and Bruce Bowen. The former may not score that much, and the latter would barely have any defense to penetrate because everyone else would be on backcourt defense. I'm sorry. Maybe more Team USA's would suit your fancy? Hehehe. :cheeky:

Nah, that's pretty far out for now. :| :)

I see. Thanks for them, bro. :D But please do enclose the list in your other post within spoiler tags to compress space. Thanks again. (Y)

Yeah, I know. :( Actually, I'm planning to use either Ricky Davis or Kawhi Leonard's hair instead of that one. (That's AI's, btw.) If I can get this cf right, I might open up another thread called "Gigabyte's Random Stuff Workshop." :cheeky: So, do you know any other guys with braids? :D

EDIT: For those who have been asking for this Melo, I have it attached right here:

Not exactly, dude. :( What we need to do here is find someone whose braids are compatible enough with Carmelo's headshape. Meaning to say, we don't want those errors with the braids. It's more on the 3D part. Editing the hair graphics is easy enough. :) I appreciate the effort though. :D Thanks a lot, man. (Y)

EDIT: It doesn't work.

I have no idea when it comes to 2K12 cyberface modding, and I took that cf you uploaded straight on. Maybe if you could convert it to the 2K13 compression format, then re-upload it here. :) (Oh, and for the record, I have no idea how to do that as well.) Let's see what RussianKobe can do with it, though. (Y)
