jtc324, draft information isn't included in Roster Editor, but will be there in REDitor.

KwiLL23, are you sure you're using the latest version? The error log you provided me doesn't give me a lot of proper clues, but I'd say you tried messing with the Shoe Colors of some players and didn't input the color value correctly.

Leftos, I was using v0.20.0.1 and when I got up this morning I had the chance to download the latest version. The funny thing is, this time I didn't do anything with the shoe value, I was just trying to copy my signature skills from a old roster to a new one. I was copying just the base players that never change in the roster.

Sorry for the double post Leftos, but it was totally my fault. I screwed up the copy and paste and I have it working now. Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it.

Sir Leftos, I have edited all the generic players info including their CFID, PortraitID, and others to MJ, Shaq, Isiah Thomas, and Larry Bird's data in my MyCareer team using the latest Roster Editor...

All the data that I have edited for this generic players were all ok during the game like the CFID, PortraitID, numbers, positions and and even their moves...

But my problem are the names of the edited generic players did not change at all... the P.A. announcer still calls the names of these generic players during the game... :(

Please help me in fixing this problem?

Thanks in advance...

Here's the screenshot sir...

orliski109, names can't be edited via the Roster Editor. You can try changing them in-game by changing their PlType to 6, but the name glitch could screw up more names then. Make a backup and try that.

I guess I'm too kind, so I made v0.21 which completely eliminates the need for you to find offsets, not even to click on the button. It all does it for you as soon as you open the file, and it doesn't matter whether you're opening a roster or a save.

So... there. Yeah.

Make sure to donate, if you can.

I love/hate you for outdating my shiz. But again, great improvement and thank you for doing it.

Any idea how it affects 360 users though?

Should work for them as well, but I have no files to test it with. They can keep on using v0.20.1 if this one doesn't work for them and give me feedback and/or files so I can fix it for them.

I was just talking to Jaosming and i ran into a problem that he wasnt able to solve. I'm trying to get all player names into the editor, but i am missing a TON of CFID's. i have a nick collison, a ton of iversons, and a ton of stackhouses.. i dont know what I'm doing wrong. i have the CFNames.txt file loaded and everything so my only problem is the missing CFID. For example: I have a Ray Allen in the game but when i get to the roster editor, there isnt a Ray Allen CFID showing up. I already deleted everything and redownloaded it, any suggestion on a way to fix it?

PS i love everything about the editor, especially the accessory color editing part!

nope, that just means it should work. You don't have the auto 360 checked right? it should say auto PC on the right side of the tool.

Thank you for your response sir...
I had it all figured out last night after experimenting...

here's what I had achieved:

I also got to change my players CF and a few tweaks to it with the help of your Roster Editor...

A lot of thanks sir Leftos... :)

BTW thanks also to JaoSming's Video Tutorials... (Y)

adding jerseys? not possible with this tool, stated before
colored socks? not possible, you get either white or black socks by default unless you use player accessories iirc. Still, not something that can be accomplished by this tool, just like how it wasn't for the REDitor.

then I have no idea. I dont have the 360 version, neither does Leftos. So support in that manner is going to be limited.

TheDom45, post your roster file. As JaoSming said, I don't have a 360, so I can't test Roster Editor with its files at all, unless they're sent to me.
Tha King, you don't have to be mean about me not replying to your question. It's one of two cases: either you asked a question that has been replied to a gazillion times and I can't bother (or I could reply "thanks for not taking the time to go through the thread before asking"), or I just missed your question. Again, it's not like I'm not trying to help or ignoring you on purpose. So, some respect here, thank you.

Hey Leftos, could you add the option to edit the "Overriding Rotations" in your editor? just like what Reditor had..
so that we can correctly update the All-Star and Rising Stars lineup to be played on quick game.. cause no matter how we edit the all-star team, it still shows last years team with Rose and Bynum as starters..
a trick on how to play All-Star Game in quick game without trainers has been revealed recently and we want play the game with updated rosters.. cause right now the only roster that has updated line-up is the Official 2K roster..
so if its possible it would be awesome.. thanks..
great work as always btw... (Y)

Darth_Jor-El, nope, as I said, not adding new features to Roster Editor. We're in the final stretch to REDitor's release now.

I guess it isn't possible to downgrade right? Like go back to an older version of the Editor? It doesn't work for me no matter what I do. I guess that's fair. There was a feature in your older version that allowed us to have a player wear a different jersey from his actual team. Ever since you did that Team-Player tab coordination (placing a player in a team in the teams tab making him no longer counted as a free agent) it was gone.
