I don't even think there's a slider to reduce that success rate lol. It must be who you're fading away with because it works well with KG, LBJ, and Kobe and others for me.

no offense bro but, the easyest thing if "I want something, ask for it"... why u dont help him to make away shoes instead of asking for them .... not an easy job to make a roster like he did so respect it and be a contribuitor .... .... Am I the only one who actually understood this question? Yes the shoes change color when home & away. I need to update the screenshots but my PC is terrible lol so the shots aren't very good because I got most of the settings on low. Here's an example from previous versions.

Lebron X, M9, Kobe 8 are new shoes so I removed that screenshot already.

Shoes with 0 in the beginning do NOT have RGB colorways. shoe_xxx_00.iff have RGB colorways as shoe_0xxx_00.iff don't. When testing shoes with 4 digits it's hard to determine. No you cannot rename it to activate RGB colors lol I tried that.

Finley? He's gonna play? Yeah Harangody was on the Cavs but he's not on the roster anymore like Baron

I think he won't do very well. He hasn't played an NBA game since March 25, 2012. He's also VERY injury-prone leading to small minutes. He'll provide the shot blocking the Heat desperately need in the paint though. He has a career average of 10.5 RPG and 3.2 BPG in 36 minutes but at 34 years old, I'm not quite sure about him.

I don't think Finley's coming back at all. Oden is definitely coming back though. He's not retired.

Anyway I found out how to change coach names but it'll ruin other names. I'll try to figure out if you can add brand NEW coaches instead though.

hey man, shoes folder in AppData won't affect your roster? or the shoes with your roster? do we need to download any Shoes data that is to be placed in the shoes folder in the AppData section? thanks

I don't have any shoes in the Appdata folder because those shoes are non-transferable and crash on different PCs. Your shoes in the Appdata will remain in the game.

It's definitely with name sharing. For example, Scott Skiles change to Jim Boylan. Coaches like Byron Scott will be named Byron Jim. Mike Brown change to Mike D'Antoni. Kwame Brown will become Kwame D'Antoni. Something like that. The structure of the names is so cheap that I think 2K made players share name slots. Like one time I tried to change Patrick Mills to Patty Mills and I got a Patty Patterson on the Rockets. Not sure about hex though.

Along with yesterday's roster update came some shoe releases from 2K, 'BHM' versions for Kobe, Lebron, and Durant. Is that the same as RGB? If not, what does BHM mean? Are you going to include these files in your next update, for the main 2K13 folder?? Can I just add the filesto the game and they'll show up as selectable in-game?

Yeah you can just download the newest Online Data. It won't harm the roster patch.

That's the Mike Brown experiment (changing the name Brown to D'Antoni instead of him sharing the same sliders with the Team USA coach D'Antoni) but that was flawed because it had numerous errors in-game.

hey med..i finally could make your roster work!!! :cheeky:

don´t ask me how, but it´s working now hahahahaha i played a couple of games and i think that the cpu is making too much points in the paint...how is your games going??? i believe my defense is ok...the players use to much crossovers and isomotion to get inside the paint, and a very few plays for opens shots or step up jumps...any tips???

Also, Med, if you're looking for data on shot tendency and eFG%, check 82games.com. I've been using the site since 2006 and it's awesome. Helped me come up with formulas for different shooting ratings, and now tendencies. I'm thinking of coming up with some for 2K13. If you're interested in working together at all to do such a thing and really tweak player ratings, let me know. (Y)

Med, try to adjust the tendencies of Dream Team and USA to make them shoot more 3pts, they don't always go into the paint area......

I was USA, against DRM, with Super Star difficulty and Med's slider, and I think that DRM attack by Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan too much.

DRM got 0/8 on 3pts (Bird and Mullin), I did good on defense though, but there should be screens for them and I could not defend them successfully.

As you can see, almost all of them took 3pt attempts due to shorter length of 3pt line. 135 attempts by 9 players in total.

How many turnovers did you have? The plays have many options in them. You don't have to necessarily follow them. For example, a play is telling you to dribble towards a spot. If you neglect it, a different option will come up.

Copeland? I didn't make Chandler's body darker than it already is because the CFs aren't really compatible with that skin tone.

I'd might as well just copy and paste Slimm's tendencies since he told me I have permission. But I tried it and it didn't really play well with my sliders.

Team USA and Dream Team play informally because they are kind of like, all-stars. I'll try to adjust that in the Coaching Profiles I guess. Also, DON'T play on a difficulty lower than Hall of Fame. The sliders are only designed for Hall of Fame. Going lower than that makes an increase in your favor drastically. Try it again on HoF.

What are Slimm's tendencies based on? I'm using 'per 36 minute' breakdowns for FG Att and 3PT Att for those, and distance % breakdowns at 82Games for the Inside/Close/Midrange ones. I fixed the Knicks, Nets, and Celtics, and am testing them all playing against one another. There's a really noticeable difference. Guys like Williams on Brooklyn had their shot tendency at 99 which caused them to shoot non-stop in-game, when that isn't their game. I'm using 'per 36 min' as the basis for my edits, with minor tweaks for players who have changed roles drastically, and rookies. If you're not interested, that's cool, and I guess I should ask, if I'm editing your 0.8 release, would it be possible for me to copy and paste them into your next release so that I don't lose my custom tendencies? Is it difficult? Would it present a problem?

I wasn't a fan of the one you bundled with it, and tested a bunch of different settings before settling on this one. If you're interested I'd be happy to e-mail it to you to check out. Don't really know what he based it on but he's got some formulas and stuff for that. Might sending me a copy of your roster so I can playtest those 3 teams? Yeah pasting the tendencies will probably be easy for v0.8 to v0.9

Are you talking about MKHARSH's sliders? Yes they play well with my roster. Never tried it though. I think it has a different Game Speed or something which I object. Game Speed should always be set to 50 in my book.

I can't use any sliders other than MKHarsh. It's the only set that feels like a true basketball sim. I believe his sliders were designed to give realistic stats and cut down on the "2K cheese." I do have to adjust shooting tendencies and stuff often though. I just adjust players as I play against them with my Knicks. There's no way in hell Deron Williams should have 99 shot tendency. He's has big scoring nights but he's very balanced point guard in terms of distributing and shooting.

EDIT: Quick question for you. Have you ever used Post Proficiency on Carmelo? I'm not entirely clear on how it pertains to faceup moves but if it gives greater chance to fall for the pump fake and higher success rate on moves coming out of a faceup, that would be perfect for Melo. I would be a bit worried about it making his post fadeaway too potent though.

This is a bit unrelated but does anyone else find most of the escape dribble moves are just not quick enough to be effective? Some players like Carmelo should have their own one dribble pull-up packages. Carmelo is the master of the one dribble pull-up and you just can't emulate what he does in a real game.
