Working with Custom Jerseys

Postby nbl4life on Mon Aug 18, 2014 7:33 pm

I've watched a number of videos now and still can't get my head around the (probably) simple solution of being able to customise a jersey that wouldn't show any light issues.

Tried using GIMP and Photoshop.

I'm not sure what part of the DDS file causes it or how to remove it.

Is there a base I can work with that doesn't contain the highlighted areas?

Let me know if I need to explain myself futher.

Those jerseys do not have lighting issues, that is just the effects of the alpha layer.

Is there a good tutorial? The best one I could find was this one, and it really only speaks about changing colours that already exsit. Doesn't go much into alpha layers.
