Low Player Textures on PC Version

Sat Oct 13, 2012 8:21 am

I'm not sure if it's just on my end, but the player textures look absolutely awful in 2k13 compared to 2k12, at least on PC, they're very blurry. There is an option to change player detail in the video settings menu but I see no difference between setting it on high or setting it on low, the player detail, especially the faces still look terrible. I have a pretty souped up PC so I'm sure I meet the requirements to run on max, I was able to run 100fps on max in 2k12 and it looked stunning with all the mods especially. Anyone else have this same issue with player textures, especially the faces? :?:

yep. same here. faces , tatoos, skin, etc. Its as if they had to reduce texture size to accomodate Jay-Z's ego maybe?

^Good to know I'm not the only one. I actually own the 360 version too and the textures all seem to be crystal clear. Anyone else have the blurry textures on the PC? Can someone tell me how to take a screenshot in 2k13 so I can show what I mean? :?

The size of the textures is much smaller this year in the PC version. One of the many ways 2K watered down the PC version. I don't understand the reasoning for leaving out things on the PC version. A PC can outdo a console any day of the week. We'll pay $60 for a PC version if you give us what the console players are getting. 2K doesn't care, though.
