Is there or will there be a way to include custom shoes?

While i do enjoy the new feature of being able to create in-game shoes... often times when trying to recreate shoes they lack definition/details or just completely off. I was wondering is there a way to add shoes like previous versions of 2k...? Im talking about the pc version.

IDK if it will happen this year, for me at least, I've been trying. I need help making these blurred textures from the regular shoe texture, so I can make new shoes or fix colorways.




So I'm stuck here until I get some help. I need a photoshop pro to show me the way.

yea, it would be nice to get some of the color ways right on some of the jordan shoes thats in the game...i wish i knew how to go about doing this, i would make them myself but i dont know where to even start...

been messing with it by tying to add color zones to shoes by lifting off the colors off another shoe with more layers, does not matter how many green/yellow/purples i use to try and define more zones they do not show up.

and google is not much help, someone said they had figured out the shoe formula in one thread but he never said what or how he figured anything out.

the only custom shoes i've seen are Lebron Xs and Wade' Li Nings and they are both made by Mllr. Interestingly enough they are both black.

Think i may try finding the non colorable shoes and look at the files in those see if i can try a straight up skinned shoe. Or lest swap the files with a colorable shoe and see what that does in game to the menu. Give that a shot later today.
