Anyone figured out the best settings for Quad Cores??
Or is it the same as the last year?? Give your thoughts on this one. :)

Got quad core and dont need any tweaks. If its laggy just lower in game settings, starting with antialiasing/crowd detail/resolution..

well as for me, when i first install 2k13 i have a stutter in my game, i have only dual core pc, so i think that is the problem, because the recommended system req for 2k13 is core 2 duo.... So after google it.....I dont remember what site is it,,, it say try to configure the config file of ur 2k13 in the save files and the stutter gone to my game, I played 2k13 smooth.... here is the proof..

The CPU/Processor does not have much of an influence on the graphics of a video game compared to a GPU/Video card. So you don't have to keep mentioning that you have a Quad-Core. You can have a Quad/Hexa/Octa-core and it won't run a modern game well enough if you have a bad video card.

I have a Hexa-Core, and a bit old but decent Radeon 4850. What kind of Graphics/Video Card do you have? Don't know? Try running CanYouRunIt and post a screenshot of your results.

CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_0 = 3
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_1 = 2
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_2 = 1
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_3 = 0

CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_0 = 3
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_1 = 2
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_2 = 1
CLOTH_LOGICAL_THREAD_3 = -1

Try one of those and see if they help. Try to change to this if that doesn't work as well.
MAIN_LOGICAL_THREAD = 0
GPU_LOGICAL_THREAD = 1

I don't know why they started setting the cores backwards starting in 2K12. They used to put the first core on the main, second on the gpu and cloth_1, and any extra cores on cloth_2, 3, and 4.

Except for 2K where it runs all the jersey physics on the CPU and barely touches the GPU for example.

A quad or more core actually does improve the performance of this series over most GPU steps.

Yes you give the proof.. but didnt came with solving config for 2 core machine ,so please share it .And your fps over 60 ?

But is this game only about the physics or jersey movement? There comes a time where more cores do not help as much as it did earlier on. A Quad-core will do much better than a Dual-Core, but once you get to a Six, Eight-Core I don't think it gives as much of an improvement.

All the fancy graphical interfaces, and the basic games needs a decent video card. What do you think allows us PC users to use all these texture mods? The CPU? I'm pretty sure it's the video card and its memory (speed, bandwidth, amount.) I'm not saying that CPU doesn't do anything, as we all should know that CPU used to be the piece of hardware that did the physics calculations. I guess I forgot about that due to NVIDIA always talking about their "Physx."

After a Quad-Core I think what's more important is the brand and type of processor you use. For example I'm sure the game will run better on Intel's i7 Quad-Core then maybe a AMD's Six/Eight-Core even with us tinkering with the configuration files. A speed boost would probably help better (Overclocking your CPU or getting one at a high GHz to begin with.)

I think those numbers worked for me. It's doing good now. getting much better and smooth gameplay. thank you bro!!

Good enough card. I just purchased 2K13 so i can't wait to see how it runs. I may need some optimizations myself.

this gave me like 1 FPS extra on the benchmark (i get 53-54)..i can't play with AA 8x cuz my laptop will overheat and FPS will drop to 25

i got sapphire 6870 hd and i7 can someone help me? back at 2k12 i achieved smooth 75fps but now i can only achieve at about 60+ fps with max radeonpro, catalyst and game graphics except for the radeonpro with only enhanced anti aliasing. and i get only 50+ fps when override application anti aliasing

Maybe your Graphics card? My CPU is kinda weak, but I have a decent graphics card, the CPU was causing the stuttering for me.
