Help me get into this!

Hello there, I'm trying to get to know the basics behind 2k patching, my first time trying to patch something since Live '08.

Now I started off by wanting to change some court logos, but I can't seem to find them, or they are there but are not displayed correctly.

I decompressed and opened both the sxxx.iff and fxxx.iff files in the Mod Tool, but I can't find any logos of any teams. All I see are some generic textures like the Playoffs logos or some Gatorade stuff. And there are a lot of entries that show no texture at all. I'm thinking there'S soemthing wrong and I can't display them?

Anyway, I'd appreciate if somebody could help me out, or link me to a tutorial, although I couldn't find one!

court stuff is in the f###.iff files, click 2 on the left side of the tool and then check the sub files. You will see plenty of logos and such that are used in that court to change

Yes yes, I saw that thread, but it didn't help me out in regards to where to find the court art. the exporting and importing stuff is not what I was asking about.

Alright, jersey problem now.
What did I do wrong when I have a red shimmer comming through the jersey textuers?

No such thing on a white home jersey mind you, but on jerseys with a green and black color I created the same way

was the uniform originally a "red" uniform?

I've been having issues with mip maps and the 3DM tool

ah, the "new" version on moddingway didnt have that issue, do it again with the updated tool 3DM Mod Tool

it was, sixers road uni. i tried it again with the white jersey, and sure enough there is now white stuff visible.
I'll try it with new version, if that won't work I'll guess I have to find jerseys that used to have a similar color and edit those.

Ahh, works like a charm now with the new tool.
How nice of them to fix that exact issue with the new version.

actually....it was fixed last december, I just never updated the tool here
