MyCareer VC Problem

So I started playing MyCareer and I'm connected on the internet on my PS3. As we all know you earn VC's if you're online and if not you earn Skill Points (SP). The problem is I played offline earlier and it switched to SP's. Now, I tried to play connected to the internet and even though I'm online it still does not switch to VC's.

How can this be solved? Anyone experiences the same problem?

You should delete your save data and start all over again, I know it sucks but that's how they did it. Hopefully they will fix that in their patch.
