Unrealistic Scoring

anybody else experience this? I play with superstar difficulty - 45 gamespeed and simulation sliders...

Every game I played we're scoring at a pace of 30+ pts per quarter finishing with 120-130+ pts even though I'm trying to control the pace of the game to a slower one..

haha no man I play on superstar 7 mins everything on simulation end up getting around 85 - 100 most of the time

I guess we need to wait for a good slider to cut the score down

Thats very high scoring for 7min quaters.

I am having the exact same problem in Mycareer mode. Every freaking game is way up in scoring, it's fun, but no where near where I would like it to be.

I think Its because we are just getting used to 2k13 gameplay and new controls. And why start in SUPERSTAR mode? Try All Star first and see if the score is within the average. good luck to all of us

Nah it's not the difficulty of the game but the gameplay itself. It's very easy to score.. Both for CPU and user.. We really need a slider for this game cause I'm not fond of playing Arcade-ish basketball... I want some realistic stats on a 12 min quarter...

yeah we never perfected the 2k Slider since birth.

yeah I don't like this too, I like playing 12 min quarters and it's not hard to reach scores around 130. Is scoring inside too easy or is it just me?

I'm not having high scores, what I'm having is REALLY high %. I mean I play on superstar with no sliders that affect shooting or tendencies, and I'm shooting above 70% every game. Every shot goes in, in contrary of 2k12 where open and easy shots were not falling.

Defense is impossible to play this year. Last year, offense was impossible to play (nasty bump animations when driving, getting muffed by anyone and everyone in the paint, getting hammered and chucking up ugly layups)

Yeah I think defense really is the main problem this year. There is just too little contact and moving defensively off ball is kinda hard too. If I remember 2k said that there will be more/better contact on defense earlier this year but it seems like that they did not do that. Plus I also find it kinda easy to score 3pt shots. I only have 78 rating for 3pts in mycareer and I still shoot around 50%.

then you are not good sliders ... I SG, 3pt specialist, 3pt rating for my 82 and I have the game 37-38% for three pointers
