I don't get it... Adidas Shoes

Well so I started a MyCareer and after 5 games (3-2 so far) I get asked to sign with Nike or Jordan. I've been using some customized ugle asf*ck 2k brand shoes.
The thing is, ok I know adidas isn't in the options, so I signed with Nike.
Of course that when I go to MyShoes, it tells me that i cannot wear Adidas shoes. Of course I can't I signed with you
My question is, does this mean it is impossible to wear Adidas shoes in MyCareer?

i think you are stuck with nike or Jordan in mycareer.
