he noted later in the thread that the last-second shot clock shooting was an animation he triggers, not automatic as stated.
Opinions are my own.

No more sliding, warping and magical defense. If you are beaten by a player you have no chance to recover. That also means that you can’t recover from an opponent’s fast break, if you are not running back at the same speed than the offensive player. I can’t comment on the speed issue at the moment but fast breaks seemed pretty much the same to me as in NBA 2K12. But defensive movement and momentum were really the high points of the game for me today.

Good to hear, but my concern is, does it work both ways? Can the CPU still magically recover and stick to you like glue, as it was a little too adept at doing at times in NBA 2K12?

On the whole, a good write-up. Worth checking out. (Y)

Some good sounding improvements such as defenders not being able to magically recover once beaten.

I do not like the game auto throwing up a last second shot. Taking control away from the player is a bad thing. If the game does it for you, then you didn't win, the game won for you.

Nothing I read detracts from my earlier statement of this game being a must buy. If anything it inreases it.

Thanks Jao, I didn't see that the first time reading the thread.

But still, is it an animation triggered by shooting, or an animation triggered by a button press? In other words,

You can do manual flopping anywhere on the court by double tapping B.

Sounds like they fixed the double teaming of the post player (Y)

That was a killer bug in 2K12 & major reason game never got played much.

It's being described in 2k13 as being able to "manually" flop anywhere, anytime, for any reason. In 2k12, you had to be hit by the player with the ball. It is a bit different, from the current sounds of things.

Ah, nope, Jao. In NBA 2K12 you can also flop manually anywhere at any time, for any reason as well.

When you're on D, try holding the take charge button (B button), and then quickly flick the shot stick away from the ball handler/the guy your guarding, whilst still holding the charge button. You might have to flick it once or twice in a row. Look what happens then
