NBA 2k13 Official PC Patch?

Well, they have released the official update for the platforms that they care most about and did so fairly early on in the piece, I'll give them that. It's tremendously disappointing for us PC users to say the least, though.

in all fairness to @ld2k and @ronnie2k they are synchronized in informing about Roster Updates. But nowhere you can find any hint of a PC Patch Update.

i paid thirty dollars for nothing. i've had maybe 20 games of 2k13 before deciding i'd wait for the patch because of the ridiculous cpu run & gun after rebounds. i'll never buy from 2k again. all i can say it thank god for scene releases.

Don't worry. Just wait for Jay-Z next album. Every CD purchased is coming with a bonus: a NBA 2k CD for PC.

I have spoken 2 some computer gurus about how patching works and I asked why the consoles XBOX 360 and PS3 always receive patches first b4 PC and so quickly. This is what they told me.
It is possible consoles are easier to patch because the they are less complicated in regards to both hardware and software.
For example the consoles only have 1 single piece of hardware and 1 single operating platform to worry about. It is fixed and streamlined making it more easier.
PC's are more diverse that have different multiple hard-wares and operating systems that need to be taken into consideration. Extra drivers, graphics, video cards, Windows 8, etc.
Combining 2kSports laziness and PC's diversity that seem to cause complications.
In the meantime I have contacted 2kSports customer service and support team to get an official response on the current situation with delays and future plans for official patches and roster updates.
When and if they reply I will post their response ASAP in this thread ok. Thanx

This type of patch mostly shouldn't have any of that matter and it's another instance where most everyone else seems to pull it off.

The reality is that the 2K PC audience isn't worth the cost or effort, it's beyond minuscule. And they've moved onto 2K14 ages ago.

now no april 20 roster update.

I guess just a simple yes or no answer would be good enough from 2k.
Let us know where we stand.
It is not like they can milk us anymore until next season by keeping us out of the loop.
As for the roster updates being cut off, that is just down right unacceptable.
Just left us hangin' at this point of the season.
If they bail on us now I guess it is back to da good ol' pirated versions in the future.
No point in being legit when they don't be.
I also asked them roster updates for PC.....

at least the response was quick....but very sad news guys....

# The first question is in regards to the Official PC patch and what the current situation is.

Does 2ksports plan on releasing an Official PC patch and if so when is the approximate release date?

If there are no plans to release is patch what are the reasons why?

# The second question is in regards to the future plans of the Official Roster Updates for PC.

Does 2ksports plan on releasing any more Roster Updates for PC that are consistent with and same as the console platforms?

If not, what are the reasons?

Can you PLEASE let the PC community know where they stand at this point of the season as that is all we ask now.
