New to NBA 2K13 MyCAREER- GM sit-downs! At any point, Ronnie2K can meet with his GM to give him suggestions on the roster, discuss minutes, demand, request or rescind a trade request and more. After discussing the direction of the franchise in his second season, Ronnie demanded a trade! Let's see what happens

Seems we've got a few new options there. Good stuff.

Although it'd be great to have the option to start out as a lower rated player as a lot of people do seem to want that, I certainly like that they've boosted the starting ratings again this year to avoid having to do too much grinding, along with adding the possibility of getting picked first overall. It's a shame that nothing seems to have been done with face creation, but the other cosmetic options like custom suits are a nice touch. Not critical to the experience, but a nice touch all the same.

I like that GM idea alot, I hope the general trade-AI in myplayer mode has been touched upon, so that you yourself can control the rostermoves for the most part, or at least impact it on some level!

Would have been nice if every gm for every different team had his own custom office, maybe with throwback jerseys from past players or banners, I just assume thats not the case because of the generic, but still very nice office!

I like the new added control like talking to the GM about roster moves and such. I hope there is an option to select jerseys too. Would make things a little more pleasant.

Agreed, 78 overall, double double performance, 3 rebs and 3 steals and all he got was a 13 pick? Perhaps, he was a douche at the interviews?

The second part is kinda cool, I wonder how big of an influence on the board you will have as a rookie and later on, when you become a star.

Hopefully if you can get drafted 1st also you will be able to tank the game and go to the 2nd round.

Also I hope they improved the trade AI, if not with these higher overall rates will make trades have even less sense than in 2k12 (as it seems the CPU only uses the overall as a parameter on which player will trade for another)
That's what was great in 2k11, even playing 4 awesome training camp games, you only started with about 50 overall, so trades were better as the CPU only looked at your low overall...if your rookie requested a trade it was usually done for a bechwarmer or role-player of your desired team (not for Kobe, Lebron, DRose, Rondo, etc)

i think i just soiled my pants when i saw that picture LOL its kind of cool they decided to add that whole outfit thing to the mode since it is called mycareer,could be much cooler if we can fully customize the whole game arrival and blacktop outfit though,not just simple shirt shoes and pants im talking bout russell westbrook hipster glasses and other accessories or some kind of stuff like that,so far its just been the shirt with vest and casual pants that ive noticed in those 3 prevs,cmon 2k im counting on you! on another note i think the screenshot with the gm is the same outfit as that of the blacktop outfit? idk maybe its just me

To be honest they can add all the non gameplay details they want but if the gameplay itself is awkward and there is no option for 29 game season then it will really ruin things for me. I barely even got into the added elements of last year such as buying things with your salary in 2k12...

well they were in the game this year (the 2k.com player thing) but I couldn't get them in the game models, even though they were just a part of the player models like accessories

Well I mean it does say "BLACKTOP" on the menu, so that tells me it's your clothes for Blacktop mode. I'll go ahead and guess that your Blacktop mode clothes double for your casual clothes.
