NBA 2K13 PC closes for no reason

I've never encountered this problem before. In the loading screen of my career, it just closes. I'm in the playoffs already and finally a starter. I came so far already

Are there any error messages? Have you installed any mods recently? Anything else that you can tell us that might help us point you in the right direction?

There are no error messages. I haven't installed any mods. This only happened during the playoffs. A couple of few games back it closes too. I just restarted the game and it was fine. This time, it doesn't work. I tried restarting the game 5 times, no luck.
