as far as I know it is just like any other texture, so gimp or photoshop?

do i have to edit the alpha of it?i have no idea...coz needed that sweat for the global shine..ive tried everything..the problem is the replays and cutscenes which is based on the dds files..so no matter how i hex edit the values those doesnt change..
