How To Disable Close Scoring?

The CPU always happens to find how to kill the momentum no matter how good/bad you play defense/offense. I tried it playing 100 shot sliders. When you are trying to pull away around 20-30pts, you start missing shots. Anyone who knows how to disable that close score feature of the game? I liked it in 2K12 when you enable clutch, close scoring is somewhat disabled and I or the CPU can win by 30.

I won several games by 30+ points. Could fatigue be your problem?
