How do you use texmod with 2k13?

How do you import these HD textures into 2k13 using texmod? I know how to set up the logging mode and everything to export the textures but do I export it as a DDS image or a BMP image? And after that what do I do to get it back into the game. Can someone do a tutorial on importing these HD textures from start to finish please
