Tue Feb 26, 2013 5:37 am

Hey guys I need a little help in blender editing. I am trying to edit the rim model but there is a problem when you play the game.

There is a black spot on each side of the rim. How can I fix that?

And you would be correct, the lightmap dds subfile you have to edit (with nba2kxmodtool) is contained within the stadium file. Specifically located in the backstop/rim file, it's the last dds (which is actually a bmp texture). Extract as dds and then change the format to bmp. Open it up in your image editor and look for the area you need to edit somewhere in the bottom right area, I'd show you exactly where but I can't remember :/. I'll post the edited one in a bit for clues if you're still having trouble.

Is this the one I'm going to edit? this is the last dds in stadium file located in the rim file.

How will I edit these in photoshop? I mean do I need to replace the texture. Can you please tell me exactly what will I edit in photoshop to get rid of the black spot showing on the rim  I really like to make the new rim model I saw in your thread. :D

Unfortunately I can't find the edited bmp on my pc but just extract the one from my United Center and compare the differences, it's somewhere in the bottom right.

I already figured out the difference, it's in the upper left corner I just extracted the dds file from your Bulls court then import it to default stadium. Thank you Jhiane for helping me    and also for Jaosming for his tutorial video I'm learning new things in blender. I try to make the backboard padding same as NBA Live now..
