For you guys like like sim ball, what rules do you like to run on association?

i like
1. only allow trades for 1 week during each month.
2. only realistic trades
3. same sim qtr length as my in game length
4.no pressive fatigue
5. trade overide for realistic trades

I also found this guide

Heres some from eaglesrock562 guide on OS

An Extra Incentive for My Association

Well I'm about to start my 2K13 Association with my Lakers and I've gotten all the playbooks and everything set, but I'm going to implement something since it's a 30 team user owned association and since I have all the jerseys it'll make sense.

Rule 1: Sunday Whites - Every home game on Sunday Lakers will wear their white alternate home uniforms.

Rule 2: On 2nd games of road back-to-backs Lakers will wear Powder Blue 1960's Los Angeles retro uniforms.

Rule 3: Lakers will wear 1950 Minneapolis retro uniforms for home games against the following opponents - Nov. 13 vs. Spurs, Dec. 28 vs. Portland, Jan. 17 vs. Miami, Feb. 20 vs. Boston, Apr. 5 vs. Memphis.

Rule 4: Lakers will wear new Christmas day uniform Dec. 25 vs. New York.

Rule 5: Lakers will wear their Noche Latina "Los Lakers" white uniforms for these games in the month of March and April, 3/10 vs. Los Bulls, 3/18 @ Los Suns, 4/2 vs. Los Mavs, and 4/17 vs. Los Rockets (if in game)

1. Same. I allow cpu trades either at the first or last week of the month.
2. ? Define realistic. Realistic like Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown? Realistic like getting Steve Francis when you have Stephon Marbury already?
3. Same. 12 minutes.
4. Progressive fatigue otherwise it's not sim!
5. Nope.

Then it's not the progressive fatigue's fault, it's using the rotation substitution option.

The rotation option will always follow the minutes assigned to players with minimal consideration for the player's fatigue level. So if you set Kobe to 36 minutes only, expect to see him sit down the final minutes of a close game when he has already reached 36 minutes of playing time in the current game.
Same thing with a player of low stamina rating still playing even though he has no energy left because the rotation minutes required haven't yet been met during the game.

Progressive fatigue's impact are on consecutive games. A day rest (no games/team practice) played is enough for your players.
Exception is the playoffs, progressive fatigue is always present during the current series even with a day rest. It resets once you move on to the next series, unless you had a game 7 in the previous matchup.

Use the fatigue substitution option. The minutes you assign to your roster will still be used for simulated games but for games that you play the stamina rating of your players are considered more than the rotation minutes which is still considered by the game AI for substitution.
