Question concerning the controls.

So a roommate of mine ended up getting 2k13...for the Wii. The question he had, that we're not finding any answers to online, is: does 2k13 for the Wii work with the Gamecube controller, or is it only compatible with the Wii-mote? If it works with the GC controller, how would he go about getting it to work?

I apologize if it's a silly question based on a silly version of the game, he was just wondering since he prefers the feel of a normal controller.

IIRC the last version I got for the Wii was 2K11 and it didn't work with the GC controller. It did work though, with the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller.
