Shoddy Jersey Concepts (pre-Rockets: rlsd-BKN Nets,Suns)

Hi guys, so I've learned how to edit jerseys. I've been playing around for a while and decided to come up with new jerseys to suit my personal hunger
Decided to share this with the community.

*I'm new to this stuff so don't expect a flawless patch. Here are the jersey concepts.

Latest Previews: Houston Rockets



Used their old colorways and fonts. To match the court/stadium, you may try and look for old school court updates from the guys here at NLSC or other modding communities and rename them to the current file names used. I'm not really a retro player but if there's already an in-game old school Houston Rockets team (which could mean there's an old school Rockets court) you may just want to extract those out from the NBA installation folder, rename them to the current file names (be sure to back up original file) and paste them back. You may asks court experts for file names and stuffs.

Brooklyn Nets

These are concept jerseys of the Brooklyn Nets. These jersey replaces the original New Jersey Nets' original Home, Away and New York (light blue) alternate so please back up your files. These should work well and look well with Mythbuster's Brooklyn court concept.

Can you make a Houston Rockets concept using the St. Patricks day Boston Celtics jerseys. Turn the green into the Rockets red and have "Rockets" on home, "Houston" on away in the same text they used for their 1971/72 jerseys except in gold with white outline. For the home white jerseys, it would be gold letters and numbers with red outline. Last name in white for away and red for home. Plz plz plz, that would be amazing. I hate the current Rockets look

Love the Nets jerseys btw. Im more of a retro look kind of guy and think you should have done that with the Suns imo

I actually hate the Rockets look too. I'll see what I can do with it. I don't think I can do all your request though as I have to match the number and font color ways. Don't know how to edit those stuffs yet.

And yeah, I was supposedly going for the old Phoenix Suns jerseys that had like a ball/sun blaze across the jersey but I don't know how to position the numbers. It would've looked awkward had I done that and the numbers are where they are. Thanks!

So it's not as simple as just taking the St Pattys day Celtics jersey and changing the color to red and then pasting over a hig quality pic of the Rockets or Houston text? lol

I wish it was that easy brother.lol. 1Rose is right, I could have all the jersey elements , Rockets name and logo right, but you will have black (Boston's) numbers. Or you could have the retro feel to the name and logo and stuffs but still have their current number styles.

There maybe a workaround such as importing old numbers from retro Rocket's unis. Will try that out.

The St pattys Celtics numbers are Gold with white trim, i was requesting you use the same ones for the Rockets concept

i'm doing rocket's update but not the st.patty's one. i can't modify the outline of the numbers and i hope to keep it realistic still so I'm going throwback on them. previews soon.

1. Practice Jerseys
2. Rookie/Sophomore Jerseys
3. Rookie Prospect jerseys (used when scouting, playing rookie scrimmages)
4. Rookie Showcase jerseys (used for My Player)

I like it bro, but that logo on the shorts needs to be replaced with the championship era one. Also the away jerseys need to say Houston. I'm not feeling the all yellow alternate though. Maybe green as a shout out to the San Diego Rockets? Blue from the jerseys they had before the current ones? Or, maybe you can keep the all yellow, but do a different jersey style with more red?

I think those jerseys are already in game. You're right about the yellow one, I would like to keep the yellow (but I'm thinking about the San Diego green too) but maybe change the style, that's where those images could help me.

I'll take note on the short's logo and "Houston" for away (I blew that one, should've really been Houston).

Use Mythbuster's Brooklyn Nets concept, should be in the download section of NLSC. I'm using his 3rd version I believe.

Nah, they have the Hakeem Olajuwon era jerseys on the game and the blue jerseys. The one's i linked you to, they only used for 2 seasons.
