one more thing: Vlad or anyone else... whenever I try to write a value for a year for regular NBA teams.... the game won't load.

For example I tried to make the regular Miami Heat have a year attached to it ... so I put in the value 97 in the year column... but the game freezes when I load a 2k12 roster file. Hope we are able to assign years to regular nba teams as well as classic teams from the greatest mode.

Another thing... when scrolling through the list of players on all star teams you see that each player has the logo from his original team that he represents. I've been editing the nba2kteam/VC Team to become the 1992 Dream team. How in reditor do you make the team have the logo showing for each player's individual team... just like how it is for the all star teams?

Can someone explain step by step exactly how to add more Created teams for nba2k12 on xbox360? I've always had difficulty with it. I always reach 10 max... then in the reditor I change these created teams from being team type 4 to type 0: regular NBA team. Or do you just clone the extra slots in reditor and then load your extra teams when playing the xbox360.

I also tried using a default roster. I cloned a CAT slot but I get message saying cannot create file "C:/Names.txt" Access is denied

Thanks to anyone for clarification of the process, the right way to add multiple CAT slots.

You're overlooking Vlad's lack of enough free time to work on REditor, I'm guessing.

While originally planning to include FDC files editing (and several other things) into v.3.5, i think, i posted during the development prcoess, that due to busy studies schedule, some of the features wouldn't be in there, as i didn't want to delay the release further.
Anyway, the next version will have FDC-editing both for PC and 360, as well as Team Stats editing for sure. Also some other minor additions, if i have time. No any release dates, but if everything goes fine, i will be able to put enough effort into it during May holidays, which are held here from May, 5 till May, 9.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of a duplicate player showiong up on two teams rosters? There is a player from the Knicks showing up on the Celtics roster screen and rotation. When i tried removing him in the rotation, my roster crashed the game when it loaded. When I put things back to normal, the roster loaded again but im stuck with this duplicate player!

Vlad, I don't know if it's a bug, but I was editing some players in a D-League team (the first, Tulsa 66ers) and it messed up Overriding Rotation's tab (I noticed that in game, it crashed to desktop when i was browsing in edit players screen and I reached the All-Star teams) the PG columm is duplicated into SF columm, and SG columm is completely different, the other columms didn't change.

Since I have free version and I can't change it, can someboy tell me where's the overriding_rotation hex offset so I can hex edit it?

Thank you for your kind words, my friend.

There are several things you should do in order to get rid of the duplicate:
1) Remove him from the rotation, but make sure, there is no "-1" in the middle of the rotation after doing this. I mean, for example, if he is the 6th player and the team has 15 players, you should set 6th player ID to 15th player ID, then set 15th player ID to -1 to correctly remove him. Also don't forget to adjust PlNum column, substracting 1 from its value.
2) Replace the player on each Sitational of the team with another one, if he is there.

This should work the problem.

Or there is an easier way: go to the game, dismiss the player from one of the teams, then go to REDitor and set his IsFA field value to "0".

Are you talking about PC or 360 roster? Was it manually hex-edited or edited with any trainer or whatever? There were no such bugs spotted on the official rosters...

For PC. I hex-edited the roster a lot, but I didn't have any problem before, the problem came after I edited the player in Tulsa 66ers (I didn't made any hex-edit), I have another copy of the roster without the last changes made with REDitor and there's no problem with overriding_rotation tab. Maybe it's a problem caused by my hex-edits, that's why I am not sure it this a bug or not.

This is strange... This problem is happening with a not hex-edited roster, everytime I save a roster (even if I didn't change anything) it gives an access violation error and them the overriding_rotations tab is messed up as I said.

I reinstalled REDitor and the error persists. Maybe there's a problem with the REDitor 3.5? that D-League edit I told before was the first and only edit I've done with REDitor 3.5. I'm using Windows XP 32 bits.

Please, send the non-hex-edited roster to REDitor@ya.ru, so i will check.

From what i see, the invalid file handle is about installing the font only, so it shouldn't be related with the "Access violation error". Does the error happen when you try to open a 2K12 file? If yes, please, write me to REDitor@ya.ru, i'll send you another version of Parsers.dll .

Can someone post the download link newhere other than gamefront??

Please, also write to REDitor@ya.ru - i'll send you the file via E-Mail.

The non hex-edited roster is an official roster, so there's no much use on sending it, maybe I am having a problem with Parsers.dll? I didn't have any error message when installing but the installation slowed when installing the font.

The editor give the error message when I close a roster after saving it, even if I save not doing any change in the roster. As far as I have seen, the first time I save any roster it closes the roster without error message, but it mess up overriding_rotations, and them it gives the acces violation error everytime I close that roster after saving it.

Vl@d, "Access violation error" happens when i try to open the roster by Alleb v2.1 (roster all players.ROS) that roster is a show stopper just like Jammaster problem below. Then again, i tried to open another roster just to test it open the following: 2k roster, king12 and albys... Bam! it opens... manual editing of portid & cf_id is OK... but when i try to used TURK Script, another problem occurred (see attached file). Also, after that, "Access violation error" keeps on appearing repeatedly... i just end-up the process by task manager. Ok Vl@d hope you find the cure... :cheeky: and Thanks! (Y)
