Am I safe to all the rookies do not have portraits yet?

You don't need to duplicate and rename the cdf file. The cdf file should be without _hi. Duplicate the iff file.

Could you be more specific jmmontoro so we can try and reduce the size of the file. The main thing we want to do is make sure users don't have to copy the files and rename themselves to help reduce confusion. Exactly which files do we need to include in the zip to make it work?

This is only for Hawk and Wim
The tool generates only portrait.cdf and portrait.iff, just duplicate portrait.iff and rename it to portrait_hi.iff.
3 files total (portrait.cdf, portrait.iff, portrait_hi.iff), you'll have no low portraits, it might be a problem for users with low settings, test it, but you can always update the low files instead of the hi ones separately.
An alternative would be to school the community on the advantages of the tool, and just release the 7z file and let the users run update by them selves, this would allow for very fast releases and multiple mods in one (as long as everyone respects certain ids). The downside, a big one, would be the schooling.

Yes, I'm afraid MarShon isn't in the file yet, the primary objective of this release is the missing legends, and some rookies.
I've been working with Ryan's headshots, but they haven't been updated yet, so no kawhi leonard and no marshon brooks yet!

Quick update: I'm planning a new release, this time with all portraits of rookies. As of now, I almost have them all, but I don't have:
Kawhi Leonard, Cory Joseph, Lavoy Allen, Nolan Smith, Nikola Vucevic. If anyone has HQ portraits of these players, please contact me.

And one more thing: you want Shawn Marion with or without blonde haircut?



I'm adding some players portraits with their team's jerseys (Vince Carter for example, now with Dallas, nothing big).

Just one note, player portraits with distinct team jerseys aren't a very good idea, because they don't look good when the player gets traded later on either in the real league or in an association or whatever.

One minor quibble. There were two Eddie Johnsons in the NBA.

Added portrait Norris Cole, 2nd Morris brother, Kawhi Leonard + Vucevic (the two last one's are ugly portraits though, looking to change them in the future, so don't download yet if you already have the file, this was just an upload for people who couldn't connect to mediafire).

New update on it's way, with a few corrected portraits + finished rookies.
