Well, there you go, Gory's back with a global of his own full of new accessories. Go bother him, maybe I'll take a break from satisfying every last one of you. :P :P

If he goes public domain with his accessories, I'd love to use them and update the Superglobal, but I doubt he'd let anyone from NLSC use his accessories again, after leaving the community.

So, well, there you go. Burden off my back, finally. :P

Alright, I was using the NBA2K Mod Tool to try and edit an armsleeve, but when I try to import the edited file I get this:

"java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\png1654.iff.temp (Acces is denied)"

any sloutions

Run the tool as Administrator.

EDIT: Wait, wait wait. What file are you trying to edit exactly? That file looks like a cyberface! You don't edit cyberfaces to insert Arm Sleeves, you edit the Global file (global.iff) and import the Arm Sleeve into slot 49, then you go to Edit Player and select it there!

Also, any changes you do to the global won't show in the game until you start it again.

There's nothing to release. No new accessories or updated ones, 2.5 is the one you want. Poll closes tomorrow, and if a new sleeve gets voted, I'll make 2.5b with the new sleeve, but it's a minor change anyone can do themselves with the Mod Tool and the Arm Sleeves bundle.

As you can see with the poll closed, BBmyLove's original sleeve is the winner once again, close to my "realistic edit" of it. For those of you that want to use that one, you can always download the Arm Sleeve bundle from the first page and import any sleeve you want yourselves.

Leftos, can I post my edited version of your Superglobal here? It includes the BB Love realistic armsleeve ( white with colored stripes ) and my Nike Half and Half Padded Armsleeve. Here are some pictures :

Yeah, sure man, post it and I'll add it to a new section in the first page, named "Community Edits" or something.

Also, if you could, release your accessory as well separately so that other users can import it to their global.

EDIT: The Armsleeve Bundle has been updated to include the bumpmap file that was missing from the first release (ID 37 in the Global). You don't need it if you're editing the Moose Superglobal, but you may need it if you're editing another global. Same file works for all the armsleeves.

I don't have much time to work on anything right now due to the exams. If you can get someone to make the accessories the way you want, I'll include them.

Thanks man. I'm trying to do my best for the community with the tools and the superglobal, it's just that I'm on my way to my Engineering diploma, so I have to prioritize. It's only a few weeks left till the exams end, and then I'm coming back with a lot of tools development and more time for your superglobal requests.

Btw, Superglobal Codename Moose 2.5 is the hottest NBA 2K12 file in Moddingway. Amazing. My first year as a modder, my first try at a Superglobal, and I have the most popular file for the whole game? Woah. Thanks for your support guys!

Oh, and also, if you visit its page on Moddingway, you'll see that it's got only 2 votes that average a rating of 3/5. If you use it and it's made your game better, take a moment to upvote the Superglobal. It's only a few seconds of your time out of the hours you spend on 2K12, so I guess it's worth it!

Again, thanks for the support, the suggestions and the criticism. Without you, Superglobal Codename Moose wouldn't be what it is today.

Extract IDs 93, 406 and 686 from the original global, and import them into this one.

I won't provide detailed instructions, there's the Tutorial section in the NBA 2K12 subforum which has more than enough information on that one.

And you just keep not making any sense man. I'm sorry. I don't have any Iggy specific accessories, and if you ask about the pics LG-1 posted, I already said that I don't have time to make them, but if someone else makes them, I'll consider putting them in.

I have some plans, namely incorporating Michaelvlutz49's physics edits, which along with his MVP n JD mods make the game totally different, especially due to the explosiveness of the guards that allows the game to have proper fast breaks and speed that matters.

I still don't have any time to work on that, but I have his permission, so when my exams are over, I'll try and get out with as many physics changes I can incorporate into the add-ons.

The global file itself hasn't changed, since the physics changes are done in the gamedata.iff file, which is in the Add-ons.

As for the main global file itself, I don't have any plans, since there's no new accessories I can incorporate, nor do I have the time to manually create some or edit the current ones.

2.5 right now is where it's at. It's a full superglobal with a lot of features and has the support of many popular modders in the community, including Albys and LG-1, so enjoy that for now.
