I tried to run the turk script for solovoy's portraits but got this message in return, Access violation at address 00407FBC in module 'ReditorII.exe. Read of Address 00000150. Can anyone help me out. This didn't happen when i did it the first time, but the problem was that the roster was in the wrong location for 2K to detect it. I put the roster in the right location which is C:\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves and re-ran the script. I got the violation after changing the location of the roster. I'm trying to run it again to fix the mixed up portraits for a few players.

Please, make sure, you don't use tight jersey with non-60s shorts.

I attach the updated tutorial, which includes some missed sections. It will be a part of the next release as well, but i'd like to share it several days earlier.

Re: [Tool] Roster Editor - REDitor II (Current v. 3.0)

Hi all.
I have a problem with trade in My Player mode.
I wanted to be traded to ATL (to play as PG with Johnson, Horford and Smit) from PHI (they already have Holiday - great PG). I requested a trade. After some time trade was accepted, but it was I'm + Holiday for Horford.

Can REDitor help me to exchange Horford and Holiday back? And what about Transaction report in NBA.com in this case?
I can retire and start new My Player game (even drafted to ATL)... But I already played ~20 games.

Thank you!

Possible.

I have Phil Jackson, Larry Bird, Bill Walton, Kareem, Jerry West and Dennis Rodman as head coaches in my association. :)

OMG! Last year, I had in mind that I needed the paid version to do it. TUTORIAL PLZ! :cheeky:

Yes you only edit the player tab in free verison. If you want anything else you have to pay... And the fact the work that has to go into i dont blame anyone for charging for a tool like this... Look at all the pricing and find which you need to make your edits...

How would I force a player into free agency in an already started association? Editing their loyalty/play for winner stat? I feel like I'm overlooking something basic here.

for those guys who hate the rim's audio in a dunk (like me :lol: ): go to arenas and change the 8th number in parameters (0 to 1). It will replace the rim's sound in an indoor arena to the outdoor's one... I don't know if someone already discovered that, but i just did it :)

awesome (Y) I didnt know it did the soundFX too. FYI it does remove the court shadows in favor of the daylight or nighttime shadows on the stadium parts.

its all about the order the uniforms are in in that tab, so make sure they are sorted properly from top to bottom

so uh###
ua###
ux###
then other uniforms.

Actually "free" user can , its called hex editing. Its not as easy or fast has reditor ,but its "free". I would rather just pay for the right lic's. :wink:

I pushed the "uninjure all players" button and although it did uninjure all the players, it also rearranged a bunch of players into different teams. So now all the hours of work i put into editing players, teams, etc for my perfect roster has gone to waste because so many players aren't on the correct teams.
Do you know how/why this happened and if there's any way to fix it?

Shocked... Really sorry to hear...
I'd really like to help you fixing it, so, please, don't edit it or use it in the game anymore in order to not corrupt situationals and minutes, assigned to players.
But i still doubt a lot, the original Uninjure All script could cause that... Has anyone else faced the same problem?
May I ask several questions?
0) Please, send me your corrupted roster.
1) Do you have any backup of your roster? Actually, the roster is automatically backed up on every save (unfortunately, only one auto back up is possible as of now), if the feature is enabled.
2) Did you use any other software to edit the roster (Chinese trainers, direct Hex editing)?
3) What edits were made to the roster between the last fine version and the corrupted one.
4) Did you use any other script on it or globally edited it?
5) What are the contents of your Uninjure All.TURK file (can be viewed via Notepad, it's located into REDitor II\Scripts folder)?
Hope, we'll find, what caused the problem and will be able to fix it.

Sorry for the late reply.

0) To what email shall i send the corrupted roster?
1) I don't know. Where do i find said auto backup roster?
2) Nope.
3) If i remember correctly, i think i pushed UnInjure All (NBA 2k1x)... and then i THINK i might've also pushed Uninjure All (without "(NBA 2k1x)")... I don't think i made any other edits, because i had FINISHED my roster... the very last thing i did to it was uninjure, and then it all went pear-shaped. :P
4) Globally edited (if i understand the question correctly).
5) This is the contents of the UnInjure All.TURK file (however i'm pretty sure i used the UnInjure All (NBA 2k1x) button at first. So i will show both...

UnInjure All.TURK
Code: Select all
vay yapali Uninjure;
{Uninjures all the players}

ulsh
  i: int;    !!Cycle variable

puschla
  i valli 0 ran Players_Num - 1 taran tu      !!Here we cycle through all the players
  puschla
    Players[i].InjType 0 := ;      !!Setting InjType of the current (currently cycled) player to 0
    Players[i].InjDaysLeft 0 :=    !!Setting DaysLeft to 0 also
  veschle
veschle.

UnInjure All (NBA 2k1x).TURK
Code: Select all
vay yapali Uninjure;
{Uninjures all the players}

ulsh
  i: int;    !!Cycle variable

puschla
  i valli 0 ran Players_Num - 1 taran tu      !!Here we cycle through all the players
  puschla
    Players[i].InjType 0 := ;      !!Setting InjType of the current (currently cycled) player to 0
    Players[i].InjDaysLeft 0 :=    !!Setting DaysLeft to 0 also
  veschle
veschle.

They seem inconsistent or something. I thought the numbers were different depending on the players' play style... then i thought maybe it's just the position of their play style... but then i noticed thaddeus young has a 3 in slot 1 aswell as slot 3, but in the game they are different play types! So maybe the numbers are different depending on the slot?? I don't know, i'm confused.
Anyone have knowledge with this yet?

It should actually work like Play Style = X -> Play X from Player's Team Playbook

Hmmmm ok... i think i get it... soooo, how does one edit a players play type through reditor? I.e. how does one know what numbers to use??
