About 90% of them work
The other 10% has some kind of useless data mixed ( if you remove it the face works the same ) We are trying to find out a solution to this issue. This is real strange :?
Anyway we will released version that works with about 90% of faces.

Who cares about the 10%.....hehe 90% is way too good enough (Y)

Agreed  I cant stand 90% of the faces in the game

I hope that 10% isnt Wade, LeBitch, Jordan, Nash, etc, etc

:P

Re: [Tool] NBA 2K12 Decompressor - Unzlib V 1.0 Released

Postby WallyWest on Fri Oct 14, 2011 8:41 am

So I've read through the thread, and from what I can tell, 2kway's tool will let us decompress any file we want, but the 2k11 Mod Tool won't work with the 2k12 jersey files.

I've also heard that 2k11 jersey mods are working in 2k12, as long as they don't contain mods for the warm-ups.

So my question is, can we edit/mod a 2k11 file, and just use that in 2k12?

For example, if I were to take a jersey file from 2k11, and use it to create the Denver Nuggets ABA jersey in away colors, wouldn't I be able to then just throw that file into 2k12?

That's awesome. Are headshapes still "editable" and does this allow us to convert 2k11 CF's?

Regardless, great work, and defiintely appreciate the time you've put in on it.

Well headshapes seems to be editable but with a few changes. Jorge is working on that stuff.

What I´ll release now is a just a textures exporter importer tool for Cyber Faces.
You don´t need Mod Tool for Cyber Faces. Just this tool.
We made it this way since until Mod Tool is updated there is no way to read cyber faces with it.

About Jerseys I hope to add option to export / import soon.

NBA 2K12 Cyber Faces Textures Exporter / Importer
------------------------------------------------------------------------
DOWNLOAD IT
http://downloads.moddingway.com/file/15546.html

HOW IT WORKS

- Browse for cyber faces in your NBA 2K12 main folder.
- Select a Cyber Face.
- Click extract.
- In Cyber Faces Texutres Exporter Importer ( CFTEI ) folder you will find a folder named as the cyber face that includes .iff file decompressed and all textures.

Example :
If you extracted textures from face png0195.iff in your CFTEI folder you will find a folder named png0195 that includes all files.

- After you made the changes just click on Import and all textures from folder will be imported.
- Both files will be updated. The one inside folder and the one in NBA 2K12 folder ( original file will be backuped )

Known Issues
--------------------
We are not able to extract hairs textures yet. Coming in next version.
Some faces not working correctly ( less than 3 % )
