Huh? I just downloaded the file, extracted it fine. Maybe something went wrong during your download.

What's unknown method? I really don't understand what error you're getting. Can you provide a screenshot of it?

Have you tried installing the latest version of whatever program you're using to open the 7z file? WinRAR, 7-zip, whatever?

The first one is a Photoshop file that has the parts of the sleeve (background fabric, stripe, Adidas logo) as separate layers, so you can edit them separately and easily, and then combine them into the sleeve. It's for messing around with the sleeve, editing it in high resolution, making improvements, fixes, whatever your mind can think of, and then converting it to DDS.

The DDS file is a ready-to-inject DDS if you want to use the accessory in another global.

The numbers mean that the Photoshop file is in the original resolution in which I drew and designed the sleeve 1000 by 1000 pixels, and then the sleeve's downsampled to the game's requirement of 256 by 256 pixels, and converted to DDS.

@kruez:
Nice job man. Are you using my sleeve as a base, or someone else's? If you're using mine, you're free to release the updated sleeve, and also, did you use the PSD or the DDS as a base? If you used the PSD, I'd love to take a look.

Leftos suggested I post this here to get your opinion, not trying to steal his thread.

I made this yesterday, still needs some work. but if you think it's worthy I release the dds files.... It replaces the striped socks, so if you use this your retro teams need to be changed to regular long socks. I also used the leg strap with them to make them appear to be longer. The sock part changes with home/away. I wanted to use the leg sleeve but the resolution is too low and textures come out bad.

No reason at all that should happen. If you're using an ENB photo mod, the mod alters NO files whatsoever that would impair the ENB's functionality.

If the photo mod was actually modifications inside the global... Well then, duh.

Again, people, please remove the images from your quotes. Quoting large images makes the thread virtually unreadable.

I was thinking of adding this, but this will probably screw it up for people who play with Retro teams. We'll see. No offense, Dmayne knows I love his design, it's just that putting this into the global could turn a lot of users away. I'll think about it though.

Make 2 versions? 1 Retro and 1 Current one?

I've answered this many times. Making 2 versions now is easy. Maintaining two versions is really hard, as for every new accessory and mod you have to do the same work twice. Then we'll disagree on the inclusion of another mod, and I'll have to maintain 3 versions.

The way I see it, I put a lot of work into this Superglobal, releasing new versions almost daily. And I really need a break right now.

So why don't you give something back? v2.3 is out. Grab it, put your favorite additional mods in it, get permission from the original modders, send it to me and I'll release it!

For example, Dmayne can inject his new accessory into the v2.3, upload the file somewhere, PM me the link, and I'll be happy to release it.

I just can't maintain more than one version. I'll be willing to get Dmayne's accessory into the Superglobal if I see that the general consensus doesn't care about retro teams. Which I pretty much doubt, judging by the number of retro mods and rosters, etc.

This isn't the first time I've been asked to do two versions, so I'll say it one last time, to make it clear.

I'm only going to do ONE version of the Superglobal, and ONE version only. Feel free to add any mod you have permission for to the superglobal, upload it somewhere, and PM me the link. I'll be happy to release it and give you credit for your work. Also, if you're an accessory maker but your mod doesn't get in the global for any reason (Dmayne are you listening? ;)), I'll be also happy to include your accessory as a DDS inside the superglobal's 7z archive, so that people that want to use it can use it and find it easily, and those that don't want to, can also opt not to use it.

Yeh,it looks terrific so +1 to add this to your global. If it turns too many people off, releasing 2 versions would be the best solution. Congrats for the great work again Leftos.

ps. Just refreshed and saw your last post. Well,my opinion would be for people to vote yes/no to permanently add this accessory or not (so no 2 versions).

@Leftos I hear ya bro, I'll release the dds soon and you guys do what you want with it. I also tried to use it on regular high socks but again the import resolution is 128x128 (not 256x256 like striped socks)and it blurs the textures.

This can't be done as of now, you have the best ankle texture, the size you have to import it in is only 64x64, so it makes it look sloppy. Just like the Dwight sleeves they can only look so good because of the low res texture. Maybe a modder could go through the global and hex edit the texture sizes bigger like to 512x512, just like they did for the 1024x1024 shoe file. Doing that may cause other problems but I'll pm the moddingway guy and michael, see if there is anything they can do. If this ever happens I'll remake it for the leg sleeve.
