Vl@d or MadDog....was there any way to edit bodyshapes beside the 0,1,2,3 types? I was hoping we could edit these players body types more.

Thanks for all the work! I took a vacation day off work tomorrow because of the editor!
2013 is the year?
Thanks to Vl@d, Leftos and all the other patchers for their hard work.

When you start an association and load the draft class, those players in that Draft Class become part of the player database once you open up the Editor. So that means when you scroll through the players to edit, those draft class players will be there. You can edit the ambition, loyalty, and body types there. Trust me, I did it in 2K11.

I am not sure if the 110 is really much more than a 99. I put Rose and Wall's speed at 110 but I could never tell if they were faster than 99's. Test it out via post game practice mode. Lets see if he can be backed down by someone with a 99 strength.

The ultimate way to test it would be to put a players' strength/speed to something like 150+...

Well yeah, for personal use it is possible. But as somebody who releases draft class patches, there is no way yet to have your ambition/loyalty/bodytype edits included/saved in your draft class patch.

what to do if i want developers version on two computers?

If you plan to switch between them not too often, you can simply request new keys every time. But in case you wish to use the tool on both PCs every day, it's required to purchase the second license.

My goal is to have a cyberface and portrait for my created player without doing all these photoshop or WIMP editing (I don't have any photoshop skill or software). Can I achieve that with this program?

What about setting GenericF to 0 and then adjusting CF_ID and PortrID columns (column names may differ a bit :P )? Actually, this is available even with free version.

Just click Edit to change your .turk cause I had no clue how to make a .TURK its a mystery

For example, you can create a file in Notepad and then save it into the Scripts subfolder with some name like "MyScript.turk". Or you can use the Scripting Wizard, though it obviously lacks documentation...

Awesome tool as always. Thanks so much. I'll be purchasing my Guru license soon, but I wanted to do a few simple things first with the tool and one was moving players from the Old School Teams to the new school teams (Doug Christie to Raptors, Drazen Petrovic to Nets etc.) I've changed the team ID on the players I want moved but it just changes the players uniforms and such without physically moving the players. Can this be done?

Thank you for your kind words.
Yes, this can be done, but at least Player license is required. To physically move players between teams, you should edit Rotations (and Situationals, in case the moving player takes place there) on Teams tab for both teams and then also adjust PlNum field for both of them. I actually plan to make an automated players transfer dialog box as an addition to MyFriend Interfaces some time in spring.

Would this TURK script work under the Staff Tab? I have only free version at this time

It will actually work, but the changes won't be applied, as an advanced license is required.

Anyone else having problems saving roster files?

It's not saving the changes I'm making

Should work fine, actually. To make sure, you can Save, then Close the file, Open it again and check, if the changes are applied.
The problem can be that the game simply loads another file on startup...

Vl@d or MadDog....was there any way to edit bodyshapes beside the 0,1,2,3 types? I was hoping we could edit these players body types more.

Thanks for all the work! I took a vacation day off work tomorrow because of the editor!

Nope, this year only those 3: Thin, Regular, Thick and Athletic body types are available. Well, Athletic is regular, but the arms and chest are a bit more... athletic. :D
Took a day off because of the editor? Looks like you are really eager to make some adjustments. :D
Many thanks for your support, my friend!

If I change SHAQ's strength to 110 ,does it work in game??

Who knows? Maybe the game will still handle it as 99, or maybe it will just show it as 99, but during matches he will really have a power of 110. Just create 2 Shaqs, set one's strength at 99, and the other one's at 110 and see what will happen during their one-on-one matchup.
Edited: Ah, have just seen, DCAllAmerican has already answered you. :)

Does this work on My Player rosters (CMG files) with the license?

Yes, at least Player license is required.

The ultimate way to test it would be to put a players' strength/speed to something like 150+...

The max value, which can be stored in the file is 110 (or 110.3, i don't remember), actually...

Well yeah, for personal use it is possible. But as somebody who releases draft class patches, there is no way yet to have your ambition/loyalty/bodytype edits included/saved in your draft class patch.
Unless i'm missing something...

I thought, it was possible for 2K11 Draft Classes?
Draft Class files actually include all the same players parameters, as other file types. There are some differencies in the general format, but if loyalty is editable for players in ROS files, i firmly believe, it can be adjusted for players in Draft Class files as well...

anyone can tell how to delete a player or hide it from a roster?

To delete you need a Guru license, then right-click on the player and select "Delete". He will be removed on next save, but you will still be able to restore him until you close the file.
To hide just move the player into free agency via the game and then set his IsFA parameter to 0.

======================
Anyway, this year i'm quite satisfied with the tool and work, made by me, M@dDog and beta testers, as i don't see a bunch of bug reports after the public release.

Thank you guys, for all your support!
Once my exams and holidays are finished by mid-February, i'll get back on track on full speed, working on the next version. It will probably include: updated interfaces, support of Draft Class files, full support of NBA 2K12 360 files, Help file on editing process aspects (like Global Editor, Scripting Wizard, etc.). I have some more ideas, but we'll look how busy my next semester will be.

Have a nice day and enjoy the program!

No man, it's not the game.

I made changes, saved, closed that roster, opened it again and the changes i've made weren't there...

I'm copying a huge amount of data, if it matters, but after pasting it, i'm double checking many parameters to see if I didn't do any mistakes with the pasting...

It's kinda weird, because I made some minimal changes before (just one CF_ID) and it worked... I'm gonna try again right now

Oh, OK.
If there is a bug with pasting, I'll check it tonight then and try to fix.

Yeah, right you are... Looks like, when you try to paste an empty cell into the grid, the pasting process goes wrong.
I'll release a new version tonight.

i'm impressed by the possibility to edit the schedule...this way we can at least have 58 games mirroring the real season (or 66, plus the rest until 82). Has anyone already planned to do something like that?

Vl@d, I have a question about the MyFriend panel.

I understand it's like a GUI for the editor, but does it apply to every aspect of it?? Or does it leave others behind?
I'll probably buy a player's 2K12 table with the MyFriend panel, can I edit Rotations and Situationals from the new GUI?? Or is it the "numbers mess" from last years'??

Nope. I didn't paste anything in an empty cell

I was just pasting the accesories and signatures moves that I did for the past months into albys roster (mine is missing some transactions) filtering some columns (name, bio, animations and gear).

BTW, I found a bug. Using MyFriend panel, in the status tab, Team ID 1 and Team ID 2, show Player ID instead of Team ID. For example, Iguodala's Team ID 1 shows 0 - Jrue Holiday

Is there a problem with the jerseys tab? I try to set all the practice jerseys to hidden (for practice mode), and instead of being hidden, they are now available for use in a regular exhibition game.

Works for all the editable tabs of all games.
About Rotations and Situationals: no need to mess with numbers, you can simply choose players from the list by their names. But, as i said in my last post, there is no any trading system yet, so will still have to manually adjust Rotations and Situationals, if you wish to move players between teams.

Nope. I didn't paste anything in an empty cell

Thanks for the Team ID thing - already fixed.
But as you got changes not to save without pasting any empty cells, i then would like to ask you to send me via PM the file you pasted into altogether with the text to paste. And, please, also tell me the number of the first player, which doesn't have his changes saved.

I dont know if I am the only one that does this or not, but can the Clone/Delete commands be put in a drop down menu instead of the right click menu? I tend to hit clone on accident when I want to copy.

Not a huge issue, just a thought

Thanks for your response Vlad worked perfectly. I had another question as far as Free Agents. Currently all 30 current teams have 15 players and there are 140 Free Agents. I want to increase the amount of Free Agents to 180 by releasing more players off the All Time Teams. Now of course this will leave some of the All Time Teams with rosters far below there limit of 12 players. Is this possible without crashing the game? If it is possible, what is the best way to go about getting this done?
