Probably they could be hexediting too. I mean after files are decompressed textures are available. So with hexedit you can get texture, edit and then paste it back to the decompressed file.

Gotcha (Y) thx

I hope one day... peace will be here again and every patcher will work together to make nba2k the best basketball game ever!

I am happy that all of these great patchers are my friend.

Hi. Just to update you about our progress with Cyber Faces.

Houston we have a problem

In NBA 2K11 faces textures were set up like this

Texture 1
Texture 1 Mip Maps
Texture 2
Texture 2 Mip Maps
Texture 3
Texture 3 Mip Maps
etc

That was easy to make a tool like Cyber Faces converter or Mod Tool

Well this year 2K has this "great" idea and they setup textures like this

Texture 1 Mip Map 1
Texture 2 Mip Map 1
Texture 3 Mip Map 1
Texture 1 Mip Map 2
Texture 2 Mip Map 2
Texture 3 Mip Map 2
Texture 1 Mip Map 2
Texture 2 Mip Map 2
Texture 3 Mip Map 2
Texture 1
Texture 2
Texture 3

Reading this is a mess and some textures don´t have the same number of mip maps.
We are trying to understand this better.

Does this mean you're going to have problems with creating a tool for jerseys?

I guess we will have a tool, the problem is that it won´t be easy.

Yes, definitely appreciate you looking at it still. Hopefully you can "crack" the code that 2k has in place this year. Thanks again.

Wow, considering that the PC version lacks lighting, they have too many texture shaders there.

Extracting textures with all mipmaps is done!
What a mess! Mipmaps everywhere

Now I continue with the process of importing faces textures back. I guess a bigger mess than export them. :P

We were testing faces.
About 90% of them work
The other 10% has some kind of useless data mixed ( if you remove it the face works the same ) We are trying to find out a solution to this issue. This is real strange :?
Anyway we will released version that works with about 90% of faces.
