Tibs wrote:Hey Jeck, great work to try to get the shoe codes plugged into the rosters. I believe Albys is gonna include these in his next update, that's probably why he hasn't gotten back to you. Albys +shoe pack is gonna be awesome! Have you looked into making a Turk script to use with RedEdit? That way anyone can update the shoe codes automatically (using RedEdit) regardless which roster they're using.

I will be creating a tutorial on how am I able to make the roster compatible to the shoe system but it's a bit complicated as we also need to use the untranslated Chinese Trainer as well as the REditor. I really don't know how to create a Turk script since it's on a different language. If you can teach me then I may be able to create one for everyone's convenience...

That's nice to know mate... And thanks for the feedback on LG's topic. I mean, I've been reading a lot about "roster X, Y or Z being compatible with CHNxiaju's system"... but let's face it (and for God's sake, this ain't no criticism. It's just a thought): No roster is compatible if someone have to use an outside program (like a mod manager similar to Jonesoft's) to enable the shoes. Imagine if you'd have to do that for portraits, or player faces... Like, the roster is only going to be fully compatible with the shoes, when the shoes are all extracted individually (pshoeXXXX.iff) into the 2k12 directory, and all work in the same way as the face files. I mean, I doubt that most people care about the colors for home and away for the same shoe. If the shoe is configured for the right player, then it doesn't matter if the color is only for the home, just use the same for away game, who cares? And if someone cares, and wants to change the shoes, I guess it's easier to go and overwrite the shoes individually, for a given team, or groups of players, than to use another outside program. It's easier this way, at least in my humble opinion.

So JJ, in your first post, you "suggest" Jonesoft's Generic Mod Enabler to be used, but is that mandatory?

Thanks again for the feedback mate!

I appreciate your comment and feedback mate.

Using the Generic Mod Enabler is just a suggestion. It doesn't really mean that it is mandatory that you use that outside program to make the roster compatible to the Real Shoe System. I only suggested it so that you can maximize the full potential and beauty of having different shoes for the home and away. For sneaker freaks like me, it is extremely important. :D

Now, if you do not wish to use the Generic Mod Enabler, then you can simply

1. Drag the .iff files to the game directory
2. Download the Roster above
3. Extract it to the Save folder
4. Run the game
5. Load the Roster

You'll have either the home or away shoes with colors plugged in on that Roster.

Keep your comments coming. I am also new in patching so I admit that I still have a lot to learn. That is why I so love this community! (Y)

hi! i love your work, but there are some shoes that are not accurate, can you try or is it possible to fix them? i love to have accurate shoes for every single player like xiaoju did with also many gear colors for the teams to choose from. thank you so much for your work. hope you can figure to fix this out.

Me too mate (I'm also new to patching and I also love this community ;) ) I was having some problems because I took a while to figure out that the "enable PShoe" option is Vl@d's REditor was switched  Thanks again, your work is very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Can you please tell me which shoes are still inaccurate? I thought I was able to resolve it in LG-1 SuperRoster.

I will be releasing another update using the Official 2K Roster as a base.

I appreciate all your support!

The Real Shoe System is not designed for all players since CHNxiaoju used an old roster update from 2K. Some newly signed free agents and 2nd round rookies are not included as they don't have pshoe assignments.

In regard to LBJ and D-Wade shoes, just download Dmayne's HD shoe pack. Just search it under Releases and Previews.

It's the official roster update coming from 2K. It's dated March 9, 2012.

Gerald Wallace decreased 83 to 81
Lebron James increased 98 to 99
Kenneth Faried increased 70 to 72
Kevin Durant increased 93 to 94

Brook Lopez and Rip Hamilton to Injured List...
