So...had my first game, stomped the Mavs(Lean) with my Timberwolves(TheX), and as I finished the game. It showed that I lost 0-16. Gonna try one more today, to see if it was just a glitch or something :P

EDIT: Again, Heat vs Bucks. Won the game by 11, it showed that I lost it, and Bucks scored 2 points. Doesn`t show you who scored also. However, when simmed, works like a charm.

its done with the arena parameters column in the reditor, copy over the rucker day or night values to the other stadiums

Is there anyway to make players wear tshirts and shorts instead of jerseys? Like their practice uniforms or generic ones? if so can u tell me how? I have reditor.

Through manipulating the schedule, I have created a crude "Career Mode" similar to those seen in the actual NBA Street console games. If you are unfamiliar (then why are you in this thread) essentially everytime you win a game, you can trade one of your players for a member of the team you just defeated. So while this mod will require the user to use the "honor" system with their trades, it has turned out to be pretty fun.

Essentially the entire roster is my Hoop it Up 2K12 mod. All shitty generic players. Except this time there are NBA players littered throughout. You start off with a team full of these guys (and 1 create a player which you can edit and boost ratings for if you want) and as you beat each team you play, you can get rid of one of them for a better player.

Each week, you start off playing against a generic team with 1 or 2 NBA players on it, then at the end of the week, you play against a boss team. As stated above, each time you win, you can opt to trade one of your players for a member of the other team. As you progress through the career, you start off in a sparsely populated gym, up to a full Rucker Park. Boss games take place in various stadiums.

The boss teams (in order) are:
  • Celebrities
  • D-League Stars
  • International Stars
  • Current Stars
  • Legends
  • All Time Stars
The NBA players on the teams you play in between boss battles get better each time. So from 50s to 80s overall. By the end of the first and only season, I would love to see what people end up with for rosters, so I might ask you guys to export your team and post it to share, then I might take those teams and incorporate them into something else.

Right now, I could release a testing version, the mod works. But I want to fix up uniforms a little, and do some more testing. It is early, but very promising. After this initial version, I want to experiment with having seasons of more than 30 teams, and see what can be done with the Ultimate Base Roster that HAWK23 has allowed me to play with.

I'll get some screenies up later, but as a premise, what do you guys think? Would you actually want to play something like this?

That's amazing! To me, that's the first thing that came to mind when I started up this mod in MP mode. Can't wait to try it out when you release it! :applaud:

I'm all for it. I was extremely disappointed to see 2K remove the Blacktop mode almost entirely this year, it'll be awesome to have some new street based game modes.

awesome, glad you guys like the premise....


...unfortunately a new bug has come up. The schedule works, the teams work, but when you make trades it duplicates the player you are trading for on your own team, so no players actually get traded. It happens in Association and Season mode.

So yea, I need to blow it up and try again.

the baggier t-shirts I gave up on a while ago, the courts are waiting until the next version with the career is out, and someone in the releases section is making the AND1 team.

no matter what I try to do, I keep getting the duplicate player glitch, either negating or doubling players when trading, so I'm still working on that

Future Versions Note

HAWK23 has allowed me to use his amazing Ultimate Base Roster as, well, a base for all of my mods. What this means for the Street mod is the addition of his decade teams, and maybe the insertion of players in their prime rather than the old current versions of players, like Vince Carter. The street career thing will be attempted again, but with his database of players, it should be a LOT better than what I was creating. I will maintain the "vanilla" version of this Street Mod, that doesn't require his mod, but the really cool stuff will require his mod downloaded.
And once/if I survive finals and my newborn daughter, I will be making some new courts and such before my summer semester, so look forward to the end of this little hiatus.
