I've had my head down and tail in the air working on my 80's Ultimate Roster - 23 teams of classic players from the 80's and every other player who played in 80's as a free agent to be traded into teams if you don't like the rosters I have set up - that's the plan anyway and all with accurate historic stats

Hey Hawk the rotation problem with the minutes can be solved if you let the cpu rebuild all the rotations as long as you don't rebuild the All Time Franchise teams. Then all the historic team's rotations can be edited, I do it every time I download a new version of the UBR. Also the color on James Edwards legs (95-96 Bulls) is off. Hawk can you also please add Darrell Walker to the 92-93 Bulls in the UBR and move Ed Nealy to the team's reserves. Nealy only played in 11 reg season games that year while Walker was on the playoff roster.

I know you said you probably couldn't fix the Pacers' Arena so I'm guessing you can't for the Jazz either for the 1990 mod. I was wondering if you could just replace them with a past version of the arena or a future version? I know we wouldn't get the nostalgia effect but any court is better than a half made court... LaPhonso Ellis in 44 years old in 1997 roster and 45 years old in 1998 roster, while he was 26 and 27 years old in those seasons. Also ,he is 24 in 1999 roster and he was 28 in 1999 season.

Edit: I went and checked LaPhonso Ellis age in all retro rosters since he was drafted (1993 roster ) until 1997 roster and in all of them his age is wrong: in his rookie season he starts as 40 year old, in his sophomore season he is 41 and so on.

Work is progressing well on the Ultimate 80's mod - 300 players on roster and around 650 free agents to use to alter rosters how you like them

I have been making sure all ages, draft positions, historic stats etc are accurate and hope to have it ready for next weekend.

After that I will add some more players across all existing 80's mods and fix up draft teams and draft positions across the 80's as this wasn't a priority when I was building them but it would be nice for us to have them totally accurate.

I think the Ultimate 80's will be the way to go for those of you who want to enjoy the best players of the 80's all together in one season rather than have to play a number of different season mods to experience Tiny Archibald and Reggie Miller for instance.

Great job to those working on the CFs.

Now back to creating those pesky players who played a total of 1 game in the NBA

Glad you're loving it Rated . There are lots of good people doing great stuff on this site and all have that shared vision of the perfect basketball game for every player.

I haven't looked at the 2K13 pages - or "the Dark Side" as I like to call them but I think even if Vlad has managed to create a Reditor for the game, you won't ever get the historical depth that has gone into this mod

Always good if you can make a donation to Hawk23 - he is just a poor, over-worked and under-paid teacher who needs alcohol and pizza to keep him sane while he does his updates

Hi there,

After having finally succeded in downloading the mod again (thanks HAWK!!), I have really appreciated the new graphic improvements, especially the new retro CFs… But there are still some mistakes, especially on the early 1980s seasons (redd has done a great job but these seasons are brand new so it’s obvious that many things need to be revamped).

Now I’m trying to point out these mistakes, this time using a different approach: since the players are essentially copied over the seasons, the ones with something wrong keep their glitches all over their career. I.E. if a player has a wrong legcolor in a specific roster, it’s highly likely that he will have the same issue in any previous/following season (in which he played).

So my humble suggestion is:
1) Correct the players listed beyond for the 1980 mod (the very first season)
2) Correct the same players in following mods

This method is quite time consuming, but only in the very beginning: after completing the first step, it’s guaranteed that in the 1981 mod very few players will be wrong, since the other ones would have been already corrected, and so on… so essentially only the rookies/new players/players with multiple CF will have eventually something wrong. And at the end the reviewed rosters will be FLAWLESS…

Hope this considerations will be useful… Anyway, here I go with

1980 mod

COMPLETELY WRONG PLAYERS: Leon Douglas (he was black, not white!)

Oh definitely Melo. That 08 Celtics team, in my opinion, is one of the top 15 teams of all-time! I will never take anything away from the Celtics, I'm too much of a basketball fan for that. I just can't cheer for them
