Bob - Use one of the mods not the main UBR as that has too many teams and it doesn't like trying to keep stats on them. If you use any of the mods then it will keep stats for you.

Thansk for all your guys help, but it seems no matter what roster I use I keep getting troubles in them. The first roster I used was 92 and it crashed right after the showcase. So I thought maybe My Player wasn't compatible with the classic roster. Then I did it with the UltimateBaseRosterV35. I was able to get past the showcase and interviews but like I said before, it wasn't saving the stats. Now I tried the 95 roster and got past the showcase, but it froze during the interviews. So is there a roster that works better than the others, or are these problems just on my end?

I'm gonna assign the 1975 Bulls (white) and 1980 San Diego Clippers (both) jerseys as soon v36 is release, then try to correct the Clippers and Capitols "s" issue and try to give the Capitols and The Original Celtics their right uniforms

V35 was released above... here are some mini jobs I'd like to assign to those of you who have been helping:

Nuhmete - check out the Christmas jerseys and see if they installed okay. Scan the forums for any other current jersey/court updates. Also check out the new 80's art I added courtesy of Suirad and let me know if any of the new art needs to be applied to the Ultimate Base Roster.

Suirad - check out the 80's art that was applied and let me know if I missed anything or if I should change any courts/jerseys for year-specific mods.

MJALLDAY- check out the new 80's mods that have been released since you've done your "coaching fix lists" and add any from those mods that hadn't been checked yet.

Fabri79 - check out the new 80's mods that have been released since you started giving me those great updates and backtrack to those mods if you would like. You'll notice a bunch of new cyberfaces/cyberface look a likes from the 85 and 86 mods that probably could be sprinkled across the other 80's and early 90's mods.

NickTheQuick - check out the new 80's art I added courtesy of Suirad and let me know if any of the new art needs to be applied to the Ultimate Base Roster. You may also find some look-a-like cyberfaces that can be applied to the UBR or other season mods you've worked on.

Reddwarf - if you know of any players you've recentl made in the 85 or 86 mods that need to be sprinkled across the other 80's or 90's mods let me know and I can add them.

NIB - Check out your expansion teams and let me know what I need to do (or what you need to do) to fix some of your recent Expansion Teams so that the jerseys show up.

RayHoops - if you have anything you would like me to add for the 95 mod let me know. You may also have some good stuff that can be applied to the other 90's mods. Just let me know what I may have missed from your work!

If you want to have a MP going with current rosters use the one titled "UBRv35Association" instead

Honestly, I didn't go and check all the retro rosters but all of them should work, try starting one with 2007 - I'm 100% sure that one works.

Hi Hawk - I have made a number of the above free agents while making the '84 mod (Kelser, Garris etc) and am happy to do the others over the next few days if nobody else has already started.

As well as about being at the stage when I can start simming and tweaking the 84 mod I have been "having a break" from it by doing a serious tweak of some of the less obvious player skill ratings to ensure they are more accurate for the 85 and 86 mods. I plan to have all of this stuff to you by the weekend - family willing of course

Very good work in the new rosters, there are some problems with courts though. I played a few games in 1986 roster and I found that Utah Jazz's court is black, Kings Coach doesn't have head and Denver's court is not the right one.

After further review you're incorrect... the Suns, Blazers, and Pistons courts all work. You just didn't download and install the updated part 3 like you were supposed to. I spent a ton of time on it this morning perfecting it, adding players who were missing, adding accurate free agents, and perfecting lineups/rotations. Here goes some Jordan shoe history. I apologize in advance for the size of this post. In his rookie year (84-85) He wore three different shoes.
He started the preseason in the banned black/red Air Jordan 1 and also wore them in the 85 dunk contest (can be made with NikeID)

Stopped wearing the banned shoes after numerous threats and fines from Stern and wore the Nike "Air Ships" for his pro debut and half his rookie season. (In CHNxiaoju's Shoes for the greatest mod)

Then finally the legal Air Jordan 1 white/red/black were released. Worn in the the 85 all star game and second half of his rookie year, Also worn in the 85-86 season.

Hey guys! Whats been going on?!?!

Its nice to see everybody still involved and improving the UBR! I read threw the last couple of pages...


JERSEYS NOT SHOWING UP:

I believe the reason why some of the jerseys wont show up, is because they neither have a custom GID AND, more importantly, the GID which is associated with these jerseys is not present in the jersey tab of the roster file into which they are imported.

A couple of months ago, Hawk said that there was no room left in the file to add new/more jerseys. Thats also the reason, I didn't mention that when you import an ABA Expansion team and start a season/asso with that team, the jerseys wont show up either.

So if there's a way to add more GID's and jerseys to the main UBR rosterfile, I believe that would fix the problem, as long as the tmm and ros GID are the same!

Just to be clear, I do not expect Hawk or anybody else to add ALL the ABA jerseys AND the tmm jerseys to the UBR roster, this may be just the solution for the Expansion tmm teams, who's jerseys are not allready in the UBR roster!!!


ABA EXPANSION:

Since I'll have some downtime in the next 2-3 weeks, I'm willing to update the ABA Expansion to V2.

I had the impression that beyond the nlsc, the ABA was not well received, until I was recently contacted by 2 of the admins of remembertheaba.com, probably the most famous website everything ABA, saying that they heard about it, and saw some videos on the interwebs!

So what I would like to do from my end is:

- recheck roster for errors
- check players with "hornheads"
- update/fix the Allstar teams (East/West)
- update the tmm files
- add jerseys if requested
- add teams if requested

I made a big folder full of info for francis a couple of months back, but he wrote me that due to school and exams, he would't be able to make the ABA courts after all.

Alright guys... I just uploaded a silent update to Part 4... almost every single season mod was updated.... more accurate accessories were added to nearly every mod including more accurate sock length for players as you go from the late 90's to the mid 90's to the early 90's to the late 80's to the mid 80's. I also did a MASSIVE overhaul/update to the 1992 mod with all correct transactions and lineups + rotations. I added all of Fabri79's tweaks and ended up creating ~20 players from scratch that were not included. I also sprinkled these players across the other mods that needed them. I also added accurate free agents to the 1992 Mod. Additionally, I went across all season mods and assigned Michael Jordan his correct shoes (thanks to MJALLDAY for the description help).

Chris! Thanks for these Nets jerseys! I think you sold yourself short with the ABA mod... I've seen (and received) a lot of good feedback from it. I have one person, Don Cropper, looking to make a 60's/70's League Mod using a bunch of teams from the ABA mod. By the way he shared with me that the association/season play crashes, however he has taken some steps to try and fix it. I'll forward you any findings he comes across.

I believe I could add the ABA jersey slots to the jerseys tab - if you could get me an excel sheet of exactly the rows to include I could see what I can do.


I think between all of us we could do some great work within the next 2-3 weeks. Francis recently messaged me to let me know he has the next couple weeks free to help. Nick and RayHoops are working on some stuff and Reddwarf and myself have the next week or so on Winter Break for our school districts. Nuhmete is also still around helping out here and there. So we have the band back together again for a solid couple of weeks. Let's work together and knock some stuff out!

I'll be working at giving the 1995-1996 Mod an overhaul today... I started this morning and wow there is a lot of work to do. Skoadam made this roster, so i fear that his others (96-97 and 99-2000) will also need a lot of work. His transactions and rosters are way off... he made some trades and signins during that season but didn't make others... not really sure what he was doing, but when I'm done with it, it will be back up to par!
