Actually not sure if this coincides with the player role, but I noticed player minutes not changing in MY Player also. I change it in the editor, go into my player and they didn't change.

I believe I am running out of space in my season file because I have some players that don't have there season stats updating and when I tried to trade a player today it corrupted the file by duplicating the player and screwing up
Other player names. I tried to compress the players names and it still is not enough space. How can I free up space? Any suggestions? I don't use my player can I delete that somehow or can I delete players that I don't use?

Hey Vlad, I just purchased the modder's interface but it's not letting me open multiple files at once. I have the player's license.

Yes, it is a known problem. The thing is that REDitor only allows to edit roster part of files, while in Association, My Player and other modes the info about player roles and minutes is duplicated somewhere outside of the roster part. So, when you load a file, the game supposes that duplicated data to be of a bigger priority.

I believe I am running out of space in my season file because I have some players that don't have there season stats updating and when I tried to trade a player today it corrupted the file by duplicating the player and screwing up

Probably there are several players on your file, which are listed on more than one team's roster. I'd suggest you to use one of Leftos'es programs, which is able to correct such things.

Thank you for purchasing!
I experienced some problems with my hosting provide, so they new keys weren't successfully activated. Activated them half an hour ago, so, please, try to register the same key again. Sorry for the inconvinience!

I think its located in the xbox360 folder, but the general editing guide should explain it

Hi Vlad, maybe this problem was reported before, but I`m too lazy to read all 21 thread`s site.

Roster All Star Team is not editable. What it means - if I try change in REditor some player who is in roster all star team is not problem. But in the game this change is not appear. For example - I substitue Derrick Rose for Kyrie Irving. And in the Game on East All Star roster is Derrick Rose. The same situation are with any other players.
I change Team Type to make normal change in the game. And if I release any player from AST it will be on Free Agency Poll, but still placed on AST. Could you fix it ??

OK Problem Fixed. I must use overriding _rotation tab.
I am sorry but I can`t speak English very well.

Please forgive me.

There is a column in Reditor called inbounds receiver and you put a 1 in it if you wish the player to often receive the inbounds pass. :)

A new version has been released.
It mostly focuses on MLB 2K12 files for PC, though it includes several improvements in other areas as well.

As for NBA 2K13 - i'll set up a special blog this weekend, so you'll be able to follow my progress.

PS: The prices for NBA 2K12 Tables were lowered.

Vlad, don't forget that you need to connect each player entry to its Player_Stats playoff stats entries. Kind of like you do in StatY fields for regular season stats, but for their playoff stats. I know the entries are there in the Player_Stats table like I said, I've verified that they are, they're just missing the proper pointers from the Players table so that we know which entries belong to which players.

Postby dunadan on Wed Dec 19, 2012 7:38 am

Hi guys,

i have a newbie question. How do I add (a lot of) rows to a tab of the roster-file using reditor? (I am trying to add rows to the player-stats tab of my roster that is based on UBR34, which unfortunately only contains 164 rows.)

My first naive attempt was to select multiple rows and select Clone. That appeared to work at first, but then 2k12 complained that the ROS-file was corrupt when I tried loading it.
Are there any additional steps I have to take? Or is there another way I haven't found?

Thanks a lot!

Postby Mandelbaum on Fri Dec 21, 2012 6:09 pm

For NBA 2K12 PC version, how do I remove, trade, send to another team, send to Free Agents, or simply Delete a player off of a Created Team, so as to get the Roster down to 11 Players? I have been working with the REDitor II (Current v. 4.5), but cannot seem to remove the player from his Team, though I can clone him rather easily.
I have a Created Team of 12 Players, I just want to remove a player to get Roster down to 11 total... any help appreciated.

Thanks Much JaoSming, but that did not seem to work... In fact, I am trying to make minor changes to the UBR Roster (1950's thru 1960's), but alot of changes I have attempted are not working, is there a reason that this happens? Any special technique for editing this large group of Teams?

other than making sure there are no gaps in the roster (so no 0, 1, 2, 5, -1, 7, 8) for the IDs, and updating the plyrnum for each team, nope

Got it, thanks, of course it works (idiot me!?), I was simply not paying attention to my Roster Load/Save thingy in-game. I have a very different type of Roster Set in-da-works, which the REDitor slices right through it, with no problem.
Tutorials will come in handy shortly I am sure. This editor reminds me a bit of the "Commander" editor for NBA-Live, but REDitor II, combined with 2k System makes it very user friendly, very intuitive and organized. Onward, we go, back to the grind...

Jao,

Question man. Having some issues with the 2K12 360 guru editor.

I am attempting to make the current league rosters.

My file is fine until I put in the Player IDS into the Team Tab. The game freezes when I am at the "Successfully Loaded Roster " ___" from memory Unit."

All of the players have their correct team ids. The file loads fine at that point. But once I edited Chicago (trial and error) the game freezes. I have NO idea what to do and it is frustrating.

What could possibly be the issue?

Help with the 2K12 editor again Jao.

Is there a list for these two anywhere? The commentators and PA Announcer keep calling my players, "Allen Iverson."

I had to buy a new computer due to a crash. I have lost all of my codes for REDitor (purchased Guru version along with the MyFriends interface). Any way I can recover those? Name's Trevor Workman and the e-mail is cllutclh@gmail.com. I requested new keys on REDitor but have yet to receive any e-mails. I've got both of the transaction IDs as well.

Hey all,

I've run into a major problem that just started popping up a few days ago and I can't seem to fix it. I've looked all around the net and haven't seen the solution anywhere, so I was hoping that somebody could help me. This is for Reditor ii (NBA 2k12)

Basically I have a gigantic roster file with about 100 fully edited teams. I changed them all to CAT teams so that I could apply custom uniforms to them, and those all worked fine. I also applied a customized roster, and that also loads fine. Next I started to edit the arenas, and while all of the names and cities show correctly in the quick game menu, when I click on the game something weird happens.

The game loading screen works correctly, with the "up next" graphics showing up and running through player stats and whatnot. Then, the screen just goes black and the game never loads.

I've tried fixing multiple things. I thought it might be because some IDs didn't match up, but they all seem to. I thought it was because some parameters were wrong, but I used a default roster and fixed them all one by one, no dice (I did all of the other IDs at the same time).

The games load fine when I use a default roster (the updated one that auto loads at the start of the game). I just tried using an old custom roster, one that used to work just fine, and it is doing the same thing as the new roster. W.T.F.

I thought that maybe it was because I changed all 100 teams to team type "0", since having too many regular teams can cause freezing in franchise and other modes. I haven't had a chance to try editing that back to default yet, but my old custom roster does not the team types edited anyway, so I don't see why that would matter for quick play modes.

PLEASE can somebody help me...I am absolutely stuck and it's making me crazy.

I am so disappointed with the REDitor after buying the license and editing my association and then a few draft classes. When I was just about to finish the 1998 DC and put it up here for people who play the 97 season as association, my game started to crash for apparently no reason. One of my mottos is Oogwey's from KungFu Panda "there are no accidents" but I must confess with the REDitor there are quite plenty... And I'll give you an example to prove it.

I edited the 2003 DC and added a few players because the original file has only 10-15 realistic players. Copying data from CSV worked fine, I checked every player I added and everything looked great. If you edit DC a lot you know you can't change players birth date with REDitor so you have to edit them in game which I did: Load DC - 2003 DC - go to those players and change their age and sometimes college but there is a HUGE bug. Some players get a completely new college ID although REDitor shows the correct one! It's like the game doesn't understand REDitor with the college column. And not just that: if you try to edit that in the game, the game will crash and your draft file will be deleted from your computer!! I start to hate this editing stuff: it ruined my awesome association which I played game by game for about 2 seasons...

I'm sorry for those problems with purchasing this week. My hosting provider pissed me off with an accidential technical bug on his side, which he still can't fix...
So the maintainance release is up; it avoids that bug.

Is there actually a way to open more than just one file with REDitor II so I can switch between multiple files without having to close and open them separately?
